Walker Expects Buyout From Grizzles

Memphis forward Antoine Walker expects to receive a buyout from the team on Monday, and is looking for a new club.

Walker hasn't appeared in a game for the Grizzles, who acquired him in a Draft Night deal involving rookies O.J. Mayo and Kevin Love.

"Hopefully, with this buyout, the opportunity is going to be there for me," Walker said Sunday. "Maybe I can go and talk to a few teams and hopefully move on to a better situation very soon."

:lol Yes he was traded to Memphis in the Mayo deal from the T-Wolves. Is hard to imagine that 2 years ago he won a ring.

Most likely that is where he would go. Of course that means more then likely cutting into Powe and Big Baby's minutes.

Fuck that! I had to suffer enough watching the shimister during both of his tenures here in Boston and I dont need nor want to see it for a 3rd time. Powe/Baby/O'Bryant>>>>>>Walker. Unless he wants to do a shimmy dance for halftime shows or perform shimmy acts with our mascot during timeout breaks, there is no use for him here.

I think the Suns could actually use his services now that Diaw's gone. Particularly since he's had a history of playing well with Shaq.

The Thunder are so awful that he'd probably be the best big man on their team.

Failing that, there's always Nellie.
