Reading the thread about CP3's steal record got me thinking..

What do you guys consider the greatest record or streak in the NBA?

And I'm excluding Bostons championship win streak in the 60's out of this....that would make it way too easy on you guys. :nope

Can't you at least make it funny when you do that? I'd probably go with Jordan winning 6 titles in 6 years.

The 33 game winning streak of the 1972 Laker team who lost to Kareem Abdul Jabbar's Bucks. Greatest streak in the NBA and the whole world of sports.

You are only saying this because you can't include the Celtics right? I hope so.

AC Green's adult abstinence from sex.

Some friends and I had an ongoing joke that A.C Green's hook head resulted from years of sperm build up.

It was funny to us at the time.

That.

Especially on that Lakers team. I know all NBA players are probably pussy magnets to a degree, but those guys were freaking rock stars. AC probably had women hurling themselves at him like war heroes jumping on a grenade.

The Phoenix Suns' streak of being a perennial disappointment.

(Mavericks are riding a close second on this one)

I think the Spurs have the longest active playoff appearance streak going at 11 seasons.

I'd say the 33-game winning streak by the Lakers. Watching the Rockets last season (and they missed the record by 12 games), it proved how impossible that it is to break it.

Shawn Kemp. Most consecutive years with an increase in weight. Also, most consecutive bastard children.
