Howard, Orlando's All-NBA center, hopes to play against the San Antonio Spurs in tonight's nationally televised game after missing the last two games of a five-game road trip.


...there is some inflammation in his knee and the Magic have fitted him with a brace to protect it. Coach Stan Van Gundy is also trying to limit Howard's practice time. An MRI taken on Tuesday revelaled no structural damage.
