"I could average 27 and 10 in this league easily," O'Neal said. "Easily. In this conference, in this league, easily. Eyes closed.

"I can but I've got to get the opportunities. I'm not really the first option on this team but when I get it down there, I'll do what I do. Like I told everybody, 'You want me to be Shaq?' Then I've got to get the Shaq touches and Shaq opportunities. I just can't be taking five shots . . . and then you look at me like I'm old. I could average 27 and 10 until I'm 50."

Is Shaq planning to have a sex change and join the WNBA?

God, love or hate him, the NBA won't be the same without him.

I can average 27 and 10 with my eyes closed. You're just going to have to trust that my eyes are closed for this next part:

twenty seven plus ten is thirty seven. to take an avverage you divide the sum by the number of parts, which in this case is two. thirty seven divided by two equals eighteen and a half.

Fuck yeah! No typos (almost), calculators or nothing! I'm Shaqtastic!

Shaq is a cancer. Always has been, always will be.

Well, not "always", really, only for the next year or two. Then he can retire to a life of destroying his personal relationships full-time.

Shaq might not have the hops that he used to have but from 5 feet inside he's still a deadly force. He still has his footwork and he can still dominate inside because he's so strong. If he got his touches I think he could still drop 27 and 10.

He might be a cancer but Kobe and Wade have him to thank for thier rings. Wade could not do what he did in 2006 w/o the Mavs focusing thier defense on Shaq.

You do know that Shaq was very well on the decline already and Wade raped the Mavs all on his own, along with some help from the refs too a bit I'll admit. lol

So if Shaq could avg. that soooo easily with his eyes closed why would he even talk about retirement in the next 2 years. What a jackass.

Shaq is not a cancer.

The Suns players all love his locker room presence, he's a huge contributor to the Phoenix community, and he knows how to play a team game. He might talk about getting more touches, but I don't think that makes him a cancer.

You're a douchebag if you don't like Shaq because he has a sense of humor and plays for a team you don't like.

I am completely disinterested in the Phoenix Suns. I disliked Dantoni, but that's in the past. They're not one of my favored teams, but neither are they one I don't like.

As for Shaq's alleged sense of humor, well, you say humor, I say stupid asshole.

Judging by the signatures many people have around here, I don't think that's far from the truth.

All the Shaq haters can keep on hating! But people thought he was done and he clearly isn't. I would love for Kobe to be giving me what Shaq is giving me at the age of 36.

Shaq is done, dude.

He's just sowing the seeds should this team get run in the first round or not make the playoffs.

I didn't get enough touches..they didn't use me correctly..blah blah blah.

You Suns fans better hope he ends his career in Phoenix.
If he goes to some other team, he will blast the Suns and the organization to anyone who'll listen.

He will go on the list of the all time great centers..but he's the most childish fucker i've ever seen in the NBA.

i agree...going from 1st in the west to 1st round exit had nothing to do with Shaq.

Suns would have lost in the playoffs with or without Shaq. Your point is completely irrelevant.

Without Shaq, you probably woundnt be playing the Spurs in the first round, so it's very relevant. But if you want to believe that the Shaq trade wasnt the start of the demise of the Suns...thats fine with me.
