He wouldn't have ever been close to knowing jack about the summers or grey bloodlines had not apocalypse set him on the right path and given him powers, and while he created Madelyne, she was also influenced by other factors not under sinister's control to become the Goblin Queen, namely Scott betraying her love, and the two demons, Sym and that other guy. The mutant massacre, yeah, he pretty much was the prime mover behind that. But he's still a twat.....he is like a lil apocalypse wanna-be, trying to manipulate people and events when he himself is often a pawn in Apacolypse's grander schemes.
His Nate Grey experiment was pretty much a failure...Magneto was still needed to kill apocalypse, and Nate was basically a ticking time bomb that became Onslaught's battery. Nate was pretty cool though.
