I missed the game cause it was like 3 am at my side of the world when it started. Seemed that I missed an extremely exciting game.

i'm glad for the win but what's up with the Spurs scouting? the last Grant Hill basket was the same play Phoenix was running against orlando in the end of the game last week, The Spurs should have been ready for this!

It was a missed rotation by Parker.

But way to look at something insignificant :tu

Honestly, I'm a Spurs fan but I come in here and act like a troll to get y'all fired up. Otherwise, why would my posts be so weak and unoriginal?

Because you're a Rockets fan?

A real Spurs fan would've stayed up. After all, the Spurs deserve the same treatment as Santa Claus :lol just kidding.

Just got home....I watched at my parents on their 60' TV. Beautiful man. Just one of the many silver and black blades to the gut of the Suns and their fans.

OWNED...AGAIN.

I agree with this. When Amare was getting owned by Timmy, the Spurs should have taken advantage of those extra possessions. Tony and Manu almost blew it:

2:47 Phoenix full timeout 88-87
2:32 Tony Parker misses 26-foot three point jumper
2:31 Tim Duncan offensive rebound
2:09 Tim Duncan lost ball (Shaquille O'Neal steals)
1:53 Amare Stoudemire misses 5-foot jumper
1:52 Tim Duncan defensive rebound
1:52 Jumpball: Tim Duncan vs. Shaquille O'Neal (Kurt Thomas gains possession)
1:31 Jason Richardson personal foul (Manu Ginobili draws the foul)
1:27 Manu Ginobili misses 7-foot jumper
1:25 Shaquille O'Neal defensive rebound
1:09 Amare Stoudemire misses layup
1:08 Tim Duncan defensive rebound
1:01 Tony Parker misses jumper
1:00 Jason Richardson defensive rebound
1:00 Tony Parker technical foul (1st technical foul)
1:00 Steve Nash makes technical free throw 88-88
0:49 Amare Stoudemire misses layup
0:48 Tim Duncan defensive rebound
0:29 Tony Parker misses layup
0:28 Shaquille O'Neal defensive rebound
0:24 Phoenix full timeout
0:07 Phoenix 20 Sec. timeout
0:04 Grant Hill makes layup (Amare Stoudemire assists) 88-90
0:04 San Antonio full timeout 88-90

It's amazing that some Spurs fans...expect the players to be perfect! They are human!!! Wow...Unbelievable!!!

The game was played at Spurs' pace...especially since PHX came out hot in the first quarter. Pop used his timeouts judiciously and this was the Spurs 5th game in 7 nights and the Suns had four days off for this game.

Of course...they were going to miss shots! They held PHX to 90 points and that gave them a chance to win the game and they did!!!

Wow its amazing that some spoiled Spurs fans want perfection!!!

Seriously, I am still pumped about this win. That was flat out gutsy. We couldn't fucking buy a call in the fourth quarter but we kept going and going and got the win. I was watching it with my family and there were about 25 of us watching and as soon as it went in everyone just screamed and jumped up. It was so loud, everyone was like going into a frenzy :lol I loved that shot...

People saying this win is nothing to be excited about truly are not basketball fans.

You JUST care to see that W, huh?

I bet you only care about the last 2 minutes of a fourth quarter.

I bet you're also an achievement whore on your Xbox 360 (if you have one)

Just gotta get up those standings.

Go suck one, this game was probably my favorite of the season so far.

I have no problem with the team missing shots. It's when they screw up FOUR straight possessions in the last two minutes of the game that irks me. If it wasn't for Mason's clutch three, I can guarantee you that everyone here would be calling for Manu and Tony's head right now(and deservedly so). Either that or they'd be whining about the refs cheating the team out of a win. The late game chokejobs has been happening too much lately against the good teams(NO game where the Spurs didn't score on SEVEN straight possessions when they were up four on the Hornets late in the game).

It was a good win tonight. I'm just pissed about the execution on the offensive end.

:lol It was cool. Like we were all calm and stuff and a lot of my aunts and uncles were casually checking the game but in the last minutes of the fourth everyone flocked in there and was getting into it and yelling at the refs. And then when that shot went in...oh man. It was really really loud. Like imagine everyone in the room screaming at the top of their lungs, even my grandma jumped up and down! That's one thing I love about my family, we love our Spurs. My uncle who is a Mavs fan was going for the Suns and he was in the back pouting :lol

Pop is a smart man. He doesn't want to make it any bigger than what it is, its a win in December.

I'm sure he doesn't want to blow it out of proportion and get the young guys too pumped up, they may get too cocky and thats not Spurs basketball.

I'm sure he gave Mason props in private.

Anyway, thats just my thoughts. I may be way off base :lol

This kind of games are great for George Hill.
It was nearly a playoff games in a hostile arena. Having these games under his belt will greatly help him in April when the real season will start.

Right when mason hits the 3... pop right behind him puts both his fists up.. that's what I was shocked about. Pop never really does anything after a big win.. he just walks off court.

That is great. The guy yelling and hitting something at the end just makes it...

I just got through watching the second half again. Man we were getting hosed by the refs. It's funny...because even though I knew the outcome my heart was still racing at the beginning of that play. I am dropping this one on a DVD and keeping it forever.

That was a great game, and the ending couldn't have been better. My one observation: I've NEVER seen a guy have such a terrible game and put up 27 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Parker looked like he was a half step behind, made terrible decisions and it didn't feel like he was contributing at all, yet you suddenly look at the box score and think he was the best player on the floor. Strange sport.

Opinions vary, and the box score supports your position. I've never been one to bash a player, but Tony looked terrible. If he'd actually played well the Spurs would have won the game by 20 easy.
