Only problem is no one remembers that, and it wont be long before people forget about the Lakers getting their asses handed to them in epic proportions in thr Finals. No one cares who comes second, third, fourth or fifth - and by how much. Only the winner is remembered. I will admit when the loser gets a 39 point thrashing like the Lakers did they will probly stay in the minds of most fans aswell, but in most cases no one gives a shit.

The Lakers are not the champions, just like the Spurs arent. The Celtics are. The last time the Lakers were relevant was when they won a championship, nearly 7 years ago. The Spurs have been relevant 3 times since then.
