I love me some Bill Walton, and I think Shaq is hilarious. But most of ST seems to hate on the both of them.

On another note, KG is a dickhead.

I dont mind Bill Walton. But he tends to have too many "wtf are you saying Bill" moments.

Shaq, well he's the shit. I like me some Shaq. :downspin:

He has a very, very dry sense of humor. Once I figured this out, he went from being annoying as fuck to entertaining. He's also done a lot of drugs. Case in point:

Dirk, Nash, and Josh Howard. Most ST likes Harris I think since they get all excited when he does well in throw it in mavs faces. lol Like we need to feel any worse about that trade.

Yeah I guess there is more love for Dirk here than I thought. Maybe playing often against the Mavs has given Spurs fans an appreciation of him. It's other NBA fans who I guess follow the media's storylines and don't like him much.

Dirk is a class guy (though exercise bike and the Utah Jazz may disagree with that). Not everyone likes how he plays, but Mav fans know we are lucky to have him.

Dirk seems like an alright person. I don't see the bike incident as that big of a deal. It was just his frustration that his team blew a 2-0 lead. I would not mind seeing Dirk win a title. Granted I don't like him as much when he is dropping 50 on the Suns but whatever.

well, of course. it's not dirk that we hate about the mavs. it's the cheap shots like terry, stackhouse and cuban.

Amare Stoudemire

Um, you're on your own there. If I were a Spurs fan I would appreciate Amare because his selfish play makes it easy for Pop to develop a perfect defensive scheme against the Suns.

definitely Dirk. i remember when he was being punk'd he was such a good sport about it. if terry, stackhouse, and cuban were to go away from the Mavs, i would want them to win a title even if there fans can be annoying.

i see people dont like Ray Allen either. I like him. Having Pierce and Garnett as teammates makes Allen look like a saint.

Dirk, Kobe, Shaq, Amare.

The only players I don't really like in the league are Ray Allen and Jason Terry.

Kobe. I'm not a huge KG fan, but I respect what he does and I can't believe how much animosity he draws on this site.

People don't hate him, but Paul Millsap doesn't get enough love.

The only thing I hate about Dirk is the fact that he never fucking misses that elbow jump shot against us. He's like a freaking robot.

Other than that, I think he's a damn good player who has hit some unfortunate circumstances, but also hasn't shown that 'spark' to overcome those.

And wailing on the exercise bike will always be classic.

CP3... when he's not convulsing on the court like a little bitch who just got zapped with 1,000,000 volts of electricity after less physical contact that it takes to break a snail shell.

I've been a big Stoudemire fan since his rookie year. It's too bad he's spent most of his formative years under D'Antoni, because he could have developed even further under a coach like Pop, Phil Jackson, or Jerry Sloan who would have shaped him into a better defensive player. Still, dude is an incredible athlete with a great jumper for a bigman that makes him a nightmare to defend, since he can run by his man and flush it too. Plus, it's hard for me not to be happy for a guy to come back and play at a Hall of Fame level after having microfracture surgery. I was really scared we were seeing the career of an all-time great cut off in its infancy back in 05-06.

I like Kobe and Amare as players, but I laugh at and enjoy a lot of their non-basketball stupidity.

I also like Mark Cuban. It's probably closer to a 50/50 split on these boards, but I do side with those who think he's been good for the league.

I'll put Nash on that list too, even if he flopped on Horry. I've always liked Dirk except when he played the Spurs, but I had to root against him because of Cuban's crybaby ass. Shaq and Kobe are ok too; the Laker I truly hated was Samaki Walker who talked a lot of shit despite doing absolutely nothing.

Kobe and Shaq. I like them, but they will never be near the top of my all time favorite Lakers list. I prefer Laker players from my early years of following the NBA

1) Wilt Chamberlain
2) Jerry West
3) Elgin Baylor
4) Gail Goodrich
5) Happy Hairston
6) Jim McMillian
7) Kareem Abdul Jabbar
8) Magic Johnson
9) James Worthy
10) Michael Cooper
