I thought Denver was a Western Conf. elite. But its looking less and less like it as the season goes on. This is an Atlanta team that a West elite should beat. Oh well. Chauncey Billups 5-for-11 from the floor for 11 points?

You have to take into account that Denver was on a second game of a back to back. And Atlanta is a good team and I don't consider Denver elite.

No Nene, on a b2b and Atlanta was 13-2 at home

You do realise the Spurs barely beat the friggin' Grizzlies in San Antonio right? Now thats alot sadder than losing to a good hawks team on the road.

Atlanta has the same record as the Spurs, they're not a pushover

No Nene

Ahhhhh......

I was about to ask you WTF happened to the Nuggets....I saw the ESPN headline "Hawks pound Nuggets". But no Nene pretty much explains it.

i don't think nene's absence made any difference. the hawks were on fire especially late in the game.
