Some of them have a 'Certificate of Authenticity' (COA). That's supposed to prove it's real. Some have pictures of the athlete/celebrity signing the item.

If you go through reliable sellers that specialize in autographs you should get some kind of proof.

Actually alot of race car drivers do race car driving games in the winter and off times to keep their skills sharp. The games are so damn close and so realistic they've said they can run laps around tracks they regularly visit, and the bumps and lights that hit the car are identical.

That's about how hard it is to have a conversation with him. I have gotten autographs from him before at the AT&T before games, but he doesn't really talk while he is signing. Just like the game, he is all business. Plus you have to be there really early to get his sig. He warms up early. And, now you have to have a wristband to get down there to even have a chance to get autographs and to get a wristband, you have to have early access.... which means you've got to have high priced tix.

It is possible to get a sig from Duncan, but a conversation... :nope.
