How Would You Rank the Top Trios In the League?

Here is my take (revised)...

1. Duncan / Parker / Ginobili (Spurs)
2. Garnett / Pierce / Allen (Celtics)
3. Bryant / Gasol / Bynum (Lakers)
4. Stoudemire / O誰eal / Nash (Suns)
5. Nowitski / Howard / Kidd or Terry (Mavericks)
6. James / Williams / Ilgauskas (Cavs)
7. Iverson / Wallace / Prince or Hamilton (Pistons)
8. Arenas / Butler / Jamison (Wizards)**
9. Boozer / Williams / Okur or Millsap (Jazz)**
10. Ming / McGrady / Artest (Rockets)

__________________________________________
11. Howard / Lewis / Turkoglu or Nelson (Magic)
12. Bosh / O誰eil / Calderon (Raptors)
13. Harris / Carter / Yi (Nets)
14. Paul / West / Stojakovic (Hornets)
15. Mayo / Gay / Gasol (Grizzlies)
16. Redd / Jefferson / Bogut (Bucks)

** If they were healthy

Ginobili wasn't healthy for the playoff run last year which deprived us all of a chance to see what should have been a truly classic Spurs/Lakers series, and possibly... a Boston/San Antonio "Big-3" showdown.

If the Spurs big-3 is healthy this year, and Boston still outlasts the Spurs, then I'll give the Celtic's big-3 the nod here. Until then, I'll go with San Antonio's trio. They're slightly younger, more versatile, and they've won 3 championships together.

Certainly 11 and 5. I do not like Nowitzki at all. And certainly the BIG 3 of the Mavs cannot win games with tough rivals.

I think ours is the best because it is the original:king:lobt2:!!

This year, you could team up Lebron with TPark and Ducks and they would probably make the top 10.

Do you want to know who has the worst big 3 or the best?

For the purposes of "appropriate fear" of your most current rival, I'd have to go with the Redd/Jefferson/Bogut triumvirate. :smokin

Spurs could still be #1, but only if they are in hardcore playoff balls on the line mode...which means Ginobili is in supermanU mode.

Ginobili is always in Superman mode in crunch time of big games when he's not playing hurt. The question is... will he be healthy? We know what the answer was to that question in the Spurs last playoff series... and we know what the result was.

Or the clutch time turnover Manu.

He keeps it mostly caged these days and only lets it out occasionally.

Spurs "big 3"first...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

When will you people learn, its all about DUNCAN. Mangoo and the frog are just lucky to be apart of it. My God people Mangoo comes off the bench, Spews did better when froggie was injuried. There is no Big three in SA. Its a Big 1 and that is Duncan.

Spurs dont have a Big 3 this year. Not yet. The Spurs have a Big 2. TP and TD are the only players on this roster who are playing like in years past. Manu isnt playing like he used to. Not yet. Last year we played alot of sorry teams with our Big 2. This January, we better get ready for a wakeup call. If Manu plans on adding onto the Big 3, he needs to show it this month. Our big 2 will need all the help in the world.

I'd say:
1. Garnett, Pierce, Allen
2. Manu, Duncan, Parker
3. Bryant, Bynum, Gasol
4. Boozer, Deron Williams, Okur
5. Iverson, Prince, Hamilton
6. Ming, McGrady, Artest (they get knocked down a few for injuries, and are rarely playing all together anyway, so it's sort of hard to evaluate how effective they are)
7. Nowitzki, Kidd, Howard
8. Shaq, Amare, Nash (they get knocked for for being so old and weak defensively)

Forgot about them too, to be honest. However, I'm not sure Yi rounds out a "Big 3" there. The same argument could be made of Bynum, but Kobe/Gasol is a hell of a lot better than Harris/Carter... which is the big difference between the two teams.

Anyway... the list has been revised to include Harris/Carter/Yi and a couple other trios.
