Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich

On the game - “Milwaukee did a good job. They played aggressively and physically for 48 minutes. We played for 24 minutes. We competed in the second half and got back in the game, but 24 minutes isn’t enough; thus the loss.”

On Milwaukee’s ability to get to the basket - “I’ll have to look at the film, but a lot of it was missed assignments; especially in the first half. To get back into the game we had to do a lot of things to get the juice going. They (Milwaukee) played sharper and were more aggressive than we were. They deserved to win.”

Roger Mason Jr.

On the game - “Our intensity level finally picked up late in the game however it was a little too late. We were unable to match the intensity shown by the Bucks tonight.”

On cutting the lead - “Ill take tonight’s last play ten out of ten times. It was a scramble at the end and Tim had a really good look. Tim’s shot didn’t drop but we lost tonight’s game before that shot. We lost the game during the first two quarters when the bucks out hustled us. It seemed like the bucks wanted tonight’s game just a little bit more. I know the guys in this locker room wanted this win so we are disappointed.”

On defensive struggles - “Defense is what wins games for us and tonight we really struggled. We can’t depend on Tim to continuously score 35 plus points a night. We can wait for Tony and Manu to hit the big shot. The Spurs are a defensive team and we weren’t where we needed to be defensively tonight.”

Manu Ginobili

On the game - It seems like we got very comfortable after winning six games in a row. Tonight we were playing a team with a really good record but we felt we were still the better team on the court. We didn’t start tonight’s game as aggressively as we should have. Tonight the Buck got confidence early and started hitting shots and that made it harder for us to win. At the end of the day the Bucks played and shot better than us.”

On Tim’s last shot - “It was tough to get organized because usually with a shot clock you will get a timeout and draw up a good play. Even though that play was on the fly we still had a pretty good look. Tim was wide open and he chose to go to the rim but he just didn’t make it. We can’t talk about Tim’s play because we made too many mistakes and we were lucky enough to be in tonight’s situation.”

Bucks Head Coach Scott Skiles

On the game - "Yeah I thought both halves and also the start of the quarters we were good. Whenever our plays stopped, we had to get it going again. We did a nice job of moving the ball again and tonight we made some shots.”

On the Spurs comeback in the fourth quarter - "No, they were getting up, getting into us, being aggressive knocking in some balls and lay-ups as we were a little concerned from the bench of how were going to respond to that, but we took a time-out, regrouped, we were able to move the ball around as Ridnour hit a big three, and Charlie guarded a big shot as we were able to make big enough plays to retake the lead and hold them off.”

On the biggest thing about tonight‘s game for them - "That we were able to get after not being able to inbound the ball with nine seconds to go in the game, but we played tonight like we‘ve been playing before. We played hard, we played with a lot of energy and even though they shot in the high 40’s, our defense was pretty scrappy as we had another low-turnover game as we did a lot of things well out there tonight.”

On how big of a win this is and if possibly the biggest for the Bucks this season - “I don‘t know, I don‘t get to caught up into that, I feel it‘s only a big win if we do something again tomorrow night. It‘s a road win, we‘re happy to have it, [Spurs] are a great team as we have a lot of respect for them, it went down to the wire and we got a big win. Now we go play another Texas team that‘s good also.”

Andrew Bogut

On the game - "To come in here and win against one of the best teams in the NBA is a great boost to our confidence, and hopefully we can take that confidence to our game tomorrow.”

On what stood out tonight - "I think everything, obviously our defense was great, they shot a high percentage but we finally got out of our shooting slump and shot the ball well. We made some easy buckets in the fourth quarter as I thought we out-rebounded them well.”

On the last possession of the game - "Well, he hit a couple elbow earlier on, midway into the fourth, so when he came down during that possession I knew I had to help as they didn‘t have a timeout left. So I tried to run him down and make sure he didn’t get that jumper and my teammates were right behind me as when he came by they got a piece of the ball which caused him to miss the lay-up.”

Michael Redd

On the game - "We just played poised, we knew they were going to make a run and defensively we did a good job of executing down the stretch. We made some easy dunks and lay-ups and that was almost the difference for us.”

On the last possession - "Yeah, we persevered and made the stop when we had to. Charlie did a great job tonight and it‘s just a great win for us tonight as for some reason we match-up well with San Antonio.”

On Redd‘s performance tonight - "It was definitely tough, especially anytime you play the Spurs. I was grateful for the points that came my way and the stop at the end.”

Here's the post game quote of the night across the NBA:

"I felt disrespect," Stoudemire said. "Refs don't like me as much as the cops didn't like Tupac (Shakur)."

I've never been proud, never will be proud. Amare is a glorified David West, difference is David West knows his limits and doesn't try to post Tim Duncan up. West also has the whole doesn't bitch, rebounds, plays defense and works at his game thing going for him.

lol, it's hilarious the magazine says me against the world. Amare REALLY needs to stop viewing Tupac as a role model (for those who don't know, Tupac has a song called "Me Against the World").

Never thought an Aussie would own TD. Most know Tyson does. Old age can be heck sometimes. A few years ago Timmy would have killed this years Bogut.
