This is just hilarious. The extra man was Oden. It ended up in a open dunk by Outlaw. KG was barking at the ref for that. The Blazers got a T and the Celtics got the free throw but the basket counted.

enter the obligatory reply....The Celtics always have 6 men on the court, at least one ref is in their pocket.

Anyone that knows me knows I don't believe that, but I do have a certain wit about me that comes out here....

You do realise he had a double double today, didn't you?

So let me get this straight...

Blazers put 6 men on the court. Use said advantage to score 2 points.

Refs call a technical on the Blazers, giving the Celtics a chance to score...1 point.

But they let the Blazers keep the 2?

How is this not cheating?

man that was so funny when that happened i was laughing for like 5 mins haha.. i guess becuase no body caught it before the point occured it they go to keep it.. kinda strange but that will make up for all the missed elbows and pushes from garnett last night and the travels by Mr. Pierce.. so i could care less.

besides blazers would of still won by 4 if they take it away.

I was referring to not being able to count.

Should have worded it better like Pawe suggested. :depressed

LOL. This reminds me one youth league soccer game I had when I was young. We were up 2-0, but at the end of the second half we were all defending our goal, the other team attacking constantly. At one point, someone realized something wasn't right, they were too many. Then I see the opposition coach letting players from the bench go in when the ref wasn't looking. I told the ref, but he didn't listen.

By the time the final whistle blows, there were 17 of them on the court, and the final score was 2-2.

the refs are always biated to the team who has more superstars.
They have to help the superstars unless they don't want to get their signatures.

I dub this play, the teamwork play of the decade. The ability to mask Greg Oden's presence is a great accomplishment.

Letting the Blazers keep the 2 points may be the stupidest rule in all of sports.

It is all worth it when you get to see Garnett screaming at the referee and Pierce giving the "What the hell just happened" look.

Wow, is that true. It's funny but also really low that a coach would do that in a youth league.
