Because Pop didn't want to throw him in right away. Nazr was next to the coaches all game long. And you coulkd tell the coaches were explaining things to him and even the players.

He'll play Monday.

But with the Spurs system being so complex, you can't just throw a player out there and expect him to be in the flow.

Pop said yesterday, Nazr would not play today.

Actually, he said it the day of the trade.

In practice he threw an around the back pass into the first row on a critial possession, put his jersey over his head then went to the bench and took off his shoes. Needless to say, coaches werent pleased.

Because he only knows basketball and Pop hasn't decided which mold of a player that he will make out of him. I figure it will probably take Pop 2 seasons. Then he will have potential. Rasho is still on that plan, however, the mold has been changed over and over again and Pop still can't figure it out.
