He trains his teams to play that style and looks for players who make it work, giving him an inherent advantage every night. Like Mike Dunleavy with the the 2009 Clippers, only the exact opposite.

He's hilarious when he's making fun of Boston sports teams as well......the article about the Celtics during the Cavs series last year was a fuckin riot.

Tim Thomas, pre Celtics Eddie House also dropped of the map after leaving Phoenix. The only 2 players that have gone on to have great seasons have been Kurt Thomas and Joe Johnson.

I'll give you Joe Johnson, but I don't think Thomas had as great a season as you think last year.

D'antoni coached 04's olympic team, but we just brought back a bronze medal with 3 losses. Larry Brown and D'antoni have absolutely opposite personalities, one treat defense as important as his life while the other doesn't care defense at all. They combined a flame and an ice on purpose to get an ideal mixture, but what they got was just 3losses and 1 bronze. It's not easy to lead a team as talented as suns to lose to the same opponent for 3 straight years, but dantoni really did it. No wonder he was fired last summer, he deserves that.

If D'Antoni takes the Knicks to the playoffs, he'll be a legend. Knicks fans have been hungry for postseason action for a while now...

Because God knows his teams never suck raw ass until he gets the necessary players...

Bill Simmons has become a parody of a caricature.
