Good job Atlanta, another day at the office for the Hawks against this sub-par non-playoff Houston team. Houston is seriously on the decline..any trades for T-Mac yet? What a sad excuse for a Western Conference playoff team. You almost feel sorry for them, but then you don't because they deserve to lose. Dikembe Mutombo do anything tonight? Hint: Rafer Alston should not be taking 13 shots, Von Wafer should not be taking 17 shots.

Seems like teams are taking turns sucking A$$ lately....couple of weeks ago it was the Lakers, then the Nuggets, Mavs and now all of a sudden, it's the Blazers/Rockets.

I have a feeling this Houston slump is going to last awhile.

This is the same freaking team that won 22 games last year. With the exception we added Brent Barry and Ron Artest. We should be wiping the floor with other teams. Everybody was banged up last year too. So what the hell is the difference?

I'll tell you what the difference is. Remember how badly we sucked last year when Adleman insisted that we play his stupid motion offense? We sucked so bad coming out the gate that everyone was sure we were going to be a lottery team. This team needs more structure. They need set plays and offensive sets. Their defense is fine.

Rick Adleman is too stubborn with the motion offense. If it ain't broke don't fix it Rick!

That being said, I'd run the motion offense with the second unit because they hustle, they have the speed, they make the cuts and they can make their shots. That big slow first squad needs to just run set plays.

That was a lucky 22...teams just weren't showing up against Houston. That won't happen again.

Rockets didn't sneak up on anyone. Call it whatever you want, 22 games is still 22 games. You can't suck in the NBA to run off that many games in a row.

it's a good game for houston, I mean they really played great in that game. with tmac and ron and battier all sidelined, they were beaten by only 3. But the result won't be too differnent even if they all suite up.

Atlanta played down to the weak competion tonight... obviously. No moral victories in this loss Houston fans. There should be rioting in the streets until TMAC is traded. You guys should demand better.

fuck moral victories.

this was just a moral loss for Atlanta. They just made a shot, instead of missing it and won the game.

This isn't a suck a$$ thread. Besides, this thread isn't about that, it's about Houston being unable to beat the Atlanta Hawks.

There are only 4 teams in the league with a better win percentage than the Atlanta Hawks. They are no scrub team. Regardless of what conference you play in, when you have a 22-11 record, you are no longer a scrub team.

I'd say the Rockets and Hawks are pretty evenly matched.

Rafer Alston singlehandedly threw this game away in the last 30 seconds. First he tried to play superstar and threw up an impossible shot, then he leaves a great shooter in Bibby open for what, to play help defense in the post? Fucking idiot!!!!

the rockets are more powerful than hawks. rockets lost the game to hawks but it doesn't mean anything. They played that game at hawks' devil home with three of their cornerstone players sidelined, never to mention it's a back to back road game for rockets. Hawks is pretty good in the east but I guess even the warrios could make a better record if they played in the east. Most good players of the east are gathered in boston and cleverland, and detriot and orlando as well. then most of the other teams are generaly barren in good players and rationally poor compared to the western teams. Rockets are much better tahn hawks, but still not as good as the spurs.

Ridiculous.

You know nothing about the Hawks if you consider them barren in good players and incomparable to those other teams.
