id rather lose twice to an eastern conference team, than lose once to a western conference team. conference losses must be kept to a minimum, as it affects your playoff seedings.

As far as "stress" and "sadness" and being "eliminated"? It was January 4th and a stinker in Memphis. It's called being a realist and understanding how a season works. The loss didn't drop the Mavs out of the playoffs and, as far as I can tell, they still have a season to play out. 2 games behind your beloved Spurs. So don't act like this is the end of a season.
