I'll be amazed if I'm motivated enough to take my tree down by February, so I won't begrudge Slomo the right to leave the decorations up as long as he wants.

pfft.....thereve been years where I've had a Christmas tree......Valentines tree......St Patricks tree.....and then an Easter tree before we finally decided we didnt want a 4th of July tree.

Miracle of miracles we actually took our decorations down before heading to F'burg for New Years' Eve. That's gotta be a record.

Our neighbor has at least 4 trees that I know of in his house all year long. Fully decorated.

Well I started ending mine a little early this year. I started taking down the decorations today. I don't want the new puppy to destroy everything.:lol

I usually take mine down after tomorrow but I took them down yesterday this year. I really do not like how I feel cluttered with all that stuff out (even though I put out less and less each year). I love how open and clean the house feels when it is all put away.

This is clearly an example of Christians pushing their beliefs upon others.

I put them up right after thanksgiving, and they are down by the end of dec. 26th.

While we traditionally take off the decoration on January 6th, the reason why is even simpler. I only just came back from a skiing trip with the family and for the first time in years I didn't have an internet connection for 5 days!!!

:lol

I'll go fetch the ladder now and take the lights off...
