If they were going to make a Guns N Roses song #1, it should have been "Sweet Child O'Mine". I can't believe "Iron Man" didn't even make the cut...

All of the other nonsense on this list aside, the fact that Creed made the list renders it complete and utter crap.

Per VH1, there are at least 100 better hard rock songs than "Purple Haze."

I Believe in a Thing Called Love > Purple Haze
Higher > Purple Haze
Seventeen > Purple Haze
Party Hard > Purple Haze
Cherry Bomb > Purple Haze
Talk Dirty to Me > Purple Haze
Bawitdaba > Purple Haze
Kiss Me Deadly > Purple Haze

i thought you would be more concerned with a haggar song being ranked ahead of any van haggar.

:lol The 5150 album should've been numbers 5-13 but that's another debate.

I hate when they do these coundown shows and put the full list online before the countdown show begins...there is no reason to watch the show if I already know the damn answer.

Welcome to the Jungle's not even the best track on Appetite...

Rocket Queen, My Michelle, and Mr. Brownstone are all better than VH1's Top 100 Hard Rock Songs, IMO.

I found the full list on a forum today and it was shown last week, I don't think VH1 put the list out ahead of time...

Was it a new one? Or the same countdown (hosted by Carmen Electra, I think) they've been showing for a couple years?

ORION

What? No Jethro Tull? I mean with them being the "Best Heavy Metal Band" I would have assumed the would at least make the list!

Hmmm, so you have the Pumpkins, Creed and the Foo Fighters on this list but not the Clash?

Forget it, I just saw Andrew WK on the list.

Bohemian Rhapsody didn't make the list.
My list would be different but everyone has different tastes so I rarely agree with them.

Of all the Metallica songs they could have picked from, I was hoping it wasn't "Enter Sandman". "Master of Puppets", "Fade to Black" and "One" would have all been acceptable...
