Ummm, yeah. I'm sure there's a chance we could have come out on the bad end of that one. You know, there might be a coach or two worse than Pop. :lol

This is kind of like that beer commercial that says there are no stupid questions, then immediately corrects itself.

There ARE stupid posts.

No. Foosball tables cause taste loss.

Man, I'm a harsh critic of Pop, but the original poster needs to have his keyboard taken away for the next 3-5... years.

Now, I used to be a Pop-hater, I thought that in about 2002 we should have tried another direction, but he's done a helluva lot to impress me over the last few years including the way he's nurtured /cajolled TP and Manu to the edge of stardom and played to the strengths of his roster.

He still makes the odd bad decision rotation-wise, but so does even the best coach.

I agree that this thread is completely ignorant.

The only coach that I would take over Pop is Phil Jackson.

Jackson can manage great players and make them win multiple championships.

You know after watching the Miami Heat v. Orlando Magic game tonight I found myself thinking, with the talent on the Magic, if they would just play defense that was halfway decent, they could easily be a 50 win team.

If Pop was coaching the Magic, they would probably be the best team in the east right now no joke, think about it. That's why this guy is so stupid, I mean use your brain, Pop has the most consistancy in the NBA over the last decade and he has done it for the most part without the strong supporting cast of Manu, Parker, Barry, etc. that we have created the last few years.

He really doesn't get enough respect on this board.
