thats possible but egh.... no yea your wrong in pittsburg man show some respect, troy will get 2 maybe more pics willie will get around 130 rushing yards and a td or 2, ben will throw for 300 yards like last time but this time with atleast 2 td's, while the chargers will get 40-55 rushing yards top i mean if they can hold the best rb in the league to 40, 50 yards they can put out sprooles or what ever the hel his name is they will sack rivers 5-10 times pic him off a few time he will be lucky really to throw a td. and that will really be the game steelers will dominate and the chargers will go home and celibrate a all most saved season.

All I can say is ... the Chargers' rushing game is in for an unpleasant surprise. Rivers better get ready to lay on his back more than a cheap hooker on discount night

I would be suprised if either team scores more then 14 points

Chargers get 1 offensive TDs, then one of the typical 2 picks that Ben throws every game will get returned for a TD.

Chargers win this game. They nearly had them the last time and now with the way they are rejuvenated, its tough to the see Chargers losing this one.

I don't think Pittsburgh's defense chokes when it matters like Indy's did.

actually it is quite easy to see it when u think about rivers having to win the game sense their running game will be non-existant

Chargers D doesnt look bad itself. If they were able to get to Manning, they will be able to get to Ben early and often. It will come down to which qb/team makes the fewer mistakes. I like Rivers in that department.

Pitts run game will struggle too as will Ben. If the Chargers D can contain the Colts, they sure as hell can contain the Steelers.

I like these two stat lines for San Diego

Rivers - 14/39, 201 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT (1 TAINT), 1 lost fumble
Tomlinson - DNP

It's like beating the Colts guarantees they draw the best defense in the NFL the week after.

It's strange that everyone is focusing on LT's detached tendon when in reality they should be talking about concussed Ben R.

It took 5 tests for Ben to pass 1. 1 out of 5 means he's healthy?

WTF Ever. I hope he plays and that the Chargers sack him lots but keep him in the game. In his concussed state, that should be good for at least a pick to the house.

GO BOLTS GO!!!

Chargers were lucky that they won the toss in OT against the Colts. I'm pretty sure if the Chargers would have kicked off Peyton would have been able to make the right plays to at least get into field goal range. Instead the Chargers won the toss and were handed the game because of penalties that were questionable (besides the face mask).

Anyway bottom line is the Chargers are now going up against the number 1 defense in the league and not to mention the Steelers have a decent running game. Sproles won't be able to duplicate the game he had against Indy in Pittsburgh.

I think the Steelers will walk away with this one and win by 10.

I can't see the Chargers winning this one. I would like them to win just to shut the media up about Norv Turner and the 8-8 record really means the regular season is meaningless but I just can't see it. The Steelers will eat that lil running back up and knock Rivers to his ass. Ben is a damn good QB.Parker is back.

I kind of want to see the Steelers win it all so Dallas fans can't make the claim that they have the most Super Bowls ever anymore.

I don't see the Chargers winning this game without that pussy Tomlinson playing. Sproles has been good. But that Pittsburgh defense is stout. I don't have him running all over Pittsburgh like he did against a smaller Colts defense.

Anyone else think it's weird how Tomlinson like, always sits out the preseason and now he's sitting out the postseason too?

Why would he be scared? He is a running back. Hand him the ball he runs. If he sucks they throw the ball. This guy is getting old (running back old) and his body is not holding up.

If he hadn't done the same crap last season I would have said that it probably had to do with Neal leaving. And he isn't that old.

Looks like the clock strikes midnight for the Chargers. Steelers about to run away with this one.

Up until now in the playoffs, the team with the worse record won every game. The only exception being Dolphins-Ravens. Both those teams were 11-5

Chargers are done. Their defense is gassed. Even if they hold Pitt to a field goal here, they'll be spent in the 4th quarter.

Fabbs
01-11-2009, 06:59 PM
nice *interception* by Pitt.

ducks true, Moron Norv gets 7 pts off 3-3 passing to start the game. So, after that? Tries running Sproles up the middle ad nauseum on 1st down.
Defense: Has farking Rivera tried one blitz? Rothy standing back with all day long, doing short passes.

bostonguy

Pitts is in great shape still. Got SD at their own 1 and they have been playing great. It's on Pitts D to hold the fort and they will.

Told ya peeps that this was going to be easy for Pitt. Our defense shut down the midget running back and put that ho Rivers on his ass all day long

Of course, the running game as well as the pass protection was much better than expected.

Pittsburgh "D" just gave up a TD to the little guy so it's not quite over yet.....
uh...yeah, it is.......

I'm looking forward this rematch-too bad the Panthers & Giants didn't come through......thumbs up to the Steelers....at least one top seed showed up.

No LT, no Merriman and a so-so defense. Though I wasn't rooting for them, I thought they would win today.

I watched that game and the Steelers looked to be the better team though SD did show heart and didn't give up in a sense.
