Last I checked The Lakers have beat The Hornets twice already, last game they played one another the Lakers toyed with them.

I dont see what's gonna change tonight.

This will be the first time in something like 20 years that the Lakers win 16 home games in a row. Really no point for the Hornets to show up for this game.

I'm more interested in the outcome of the Bobcats/Celtics game.... Bocats 70, Celtics 63 almost end of the 3rd. :D

Lakers are a terrible match up for the Hornets. LMAO at people who say the Hornets would have beat the Lakers last year in the WCF. They do the Steve Nash Spurs treatment to CP3, make him dribble around and then shoot. No doubles.

I think it's being called fairly even. About the same amount of phantom calls for Kobe and CP3. Then I think they're just trying to not let the game get too chippy.

SpursDynasty
01-06-2009, 11:49 PM
Cool. Hornets up at the half, pretty much like expected.

The Hornets are just going out there and playing their game. When a team does that, and makes their shots, and doesn't play like shit, they beat the Lakers. That's all NOH is doing.

Yah, Fish hasn't showed up yet. Leading the team in shots (9) but only has 7 points.

Just stay healthy and get to the post season with the #1 seed.

The Lakers will walk, no shit all over the Hornets if they meet up in the playoffs.

This game proved nothing other than the Lakers were still in it despite LO going down, getting no production from Pau, and D. West and CP3 going apeshit from the field. It's going to take a Herculean effort from the Hornets to keep pace with LAL, which is why they are 1-2 in the series.

I agree with Dr House. When West outscores Pau by 30 points and CP3 has 32/15 and 0 TO the Hornets are a better team than the Lakers. But how often will that occur?

Then again the Lakers were inordinately hot from behind the arc. But that they were jacking up so many 3's shows that it was not their best basketball.
