it means that the other teams should be shitting themselves right now.
24 turnovers-lost by only 2 points. any other team would have lost by at least 10 if they had 24 to's. relax people cuz we have to worry about repassing phoenix for the first seed.

ps:Go spurs!

An L is an L, and in the race vs PHX for HCA, EVERY L counts.

This loss means that the Spurs are still on the soft-side mentally, and inconsiistent, now even @SBC.

The Spurs offense cannot stand-up to a serious defense,

The "deep" bench can diassappear totally in solidarity with the crappy-playing starters.

Spurs win/lose in the paint. Shut down your own paint, esp Duncan, and aggressivly attack Spurs' paint, and you'll be a good position for a W.

Play the Spurs physical and tight, and you can un-synch them, force TOs.

The Spurs failed a big test last night, hard-fought, close game @SBC against a divsion rival missing two main players. (btw, Grizz played a fanastic game @MEM also w/o Pau and Stromile to beat Suns a couple weeks ago).

7+ weeks left in the season. It's time for the Spurs to start showing some tough-game winning killer attitude.

The remaining secgment of the season is the tune-up for the playoffs, Spurs, and everybody else, need to forget 42-13.

I stopped reading right there. If inconsistent means losing 2 out of every 42 at home, what do you define as consistency?

This was one of the few games all year the Spurs didn't come ready to play at home. They were not engaged. They lacked zip and enthusiasm, were sloppy and thus were outplayed. Malik effect perhaps.

The past two seasons, the Grizzlies have used a 4th quarter lineup that did not include Gasol and Swift, nor much of J-Will.

Watson, Battier, Posey, Outlaw and Wright closed out last season.
Outlaw was supplanted by Cardinal this season...with Wells getting time also.

That rotation is a gritty bunch with guys who get up into their men on D and offensively, guys who can convert in isos and the 2-man game.

it means the Spurs cannot afford to have Tim (5), Tony (4) and Manu (7) have so many fucking turnovers.

it means the Spurs cannot afford to have Barry play 23 minutes and only 4 fucking shot attempts. Was he brought in to make outside shot or to act like a chicken shit?

it means the Spurs cannot afford to act like the fans and feel sorry for themselves cause someone that wasnt seeing that much playing time got traded.

other than that Spurs played pretty well
