I don't know if anyone here remembers the first Loeffler thread I started. GoN, you and I went at it in there.
Anyhow, this guys is still in the news of course, here's some of the latest.

Load off my chest. The City Council recently awarded a $259,200 federal-lobbying contract to The Loeffler Group despite criticism that the firm's previous work for the city was less than stellar. To make sure the record is straight on this matter, I want to assure San Antonio taxpayers that the contract award had nothing to do with the fact that in 2002 a then-senior partner of the Loeffler firm contributed $12,869 to Mayor Ed Garza's officeholder account in the form of a chartered-jet trip to Los Angeles for purposes that Garza declined to divulge.
Captialism for the poor, Communism for the rich.
