Considering Utah's lost more players/game to injury this year than anybody else, by far, and things have gone just about as horribly awry as possible, I'm pretty confident, given that we're only half a game back of Portland.

Yea Utah just keeps plugging in players and keeps on chugging along. I vote for the Rockets they are about 3 games from Artest snapping and beating the crap out of T-Mac.

I feel like the only teams that seem like playoff locks are the Spurs, Hornets, and Lakers. The other 6 could miss the playoffs, and the other 6 could gte a Top 2-4 seed as well.

I think it could be one of these three teams who have been perennial post season teams over the last few seasons: Houston, Dallas, or Phoenix.

IMO Dallas, Denver and Phoenix are in. It should be between Jazz (injuries) / Blaz (Oden is a rookie) and Houston (injuries+sucking).

Portland will make it. Jazz probably won't.

Why would you say that? Anything and everything that could've gone wrong for Utah this year, has. We've been shit on by the basketball gods more than any other team. And we're only a half game behind the Blazers. Do you seriously think that Utah's second half of the year isn't going to be better?

Too early, but if I had to guess I'll say the odd one out is among Portland, Utah and Houston...

Mavs, Portland are the most likely to miss

My money is on the Mavs being the odd team out:

It's a weird feeling knowing one of these teams won't make it (Mavs, Denver, Utah, Hou, Portland, PHX).
They all belong in the mix.

Didn't you just say the Spurs would have a hard time making the playoffs about a week ago? Who are you? John Kerry's bro?

right now it looks like the Rox are gonna be left out, it's not just an injury issue with them, it's more like they look completely lost on the court at times.

Blazers have a better record than Rockets in percentage, why haven't they clinched the playoff spot?

There are six games left in the season. If Houston loses out and Phoenix wins out they will have identical records, but Houston owns the head to head. I am too lazy to look at Portland.
