analysis
Spurs: Spurs have been sucking in rebounds this season because they lacks toughness in the paint, so Diop is an ideal patch for spurs and he is gonna change spurs' poor rebounding a lot. I know spurs fans have long been critisizing Parker on poor passes and his being blown out by stronger PGs, Jason Kidd is obviously one of the best play-makers in the league and his defense is tough enough to cope with those strong PGs like Andrew Miller who made Parker suck throughout the game spurs vs.76ers last week. Ginobili and TD were both great players but neither of them is still in his prime, trading them for two cute shooters should be a good option for the spurs.
Then the spurs squad will be upgraded as:
Jason Kidd*
Jason Terry*
Roger Mason*
Diop*
Bonner*
Kurt Thomas
Bruce Bowen
Finley
Udoka
Mahinmi
Jacque Vaughn
George Hill

Mavericks: Mavs have never been lacking in shooters but they just need some guy who can dominate then paint. No one can keep his shooting rate above 60percent during the whole game, the Mavs clearly know than point and they signed Dampire several years ago on purpose to have a solid weapon in the paint, but it didn't work 'cause they had overrated Dampire. Tim Duncan is not as good as he used to be but still able to help Mavs on both ends of the court. The combination of Dirk and Tim Duncan is definitely more horrible than any other paint combination like Amare&Shaq and J O'Neal&Bosh. Tony Parker is not as smart and experienced as Kidd but his quickness surely works better than Kidd with the other Mavs who are famous for their fast-break. Losing Terry is a big pity but Manu Ginobili can also do the 6th man work as well as Terry, or even better than him. The requirement of Ron Artest and Scola can also upgrade their talent of course.
Then the horrible squad of Mavericks will be:
Dirk Nowitzki*
Tim Duncan*
Josh Howard*
Ron Artest*
Tony Parker*
Manu Ginobili
Luis Scola
Devean George
Gerald Green
Brandon Bass
Jose Barea
Shawn Williams

Rockets: It's not a big trade for rockets, at least not so big as for spurs and Mavs. Rockets have plenty of good PFs so they won't need to concern who is going to take over scola's job. Ron Artest is a good player and very important for the rockets team, but the mean owner of this team is unlikely to re-sign him as this season ends. Dampire is going to be yao's backup though they have re-signed their 43-year-old center mutombo. Mutombo still looks good but it's certainly not a long-term solution to play a 43 center 10mins or more per game. Mutombo is able to be their 3rd center but too old to play as yao's 1st backup. Dampire has descended a lot since he joined the Mavs but he is still an ideal attachment to the rockets.
Then the rockets will also have a better squad as:
Tracy McGrady*
Yao*
Battier*
Alston*
Landry*
Barry
Dampire
Luther Head
Aaron Brooks
Hayes
Vafer
Mutombo
