LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― A moderate earthquake struck a mile south of San Bernardino, but was felt throughout Southern California.

A moderate earthquake struck a miles south from San Bernardino, about 60 miles from Los Angeles, rattling Southern California all the way to the San Fernando Valley.

The magnitude-5.0 quake, which struck at 7:49 p.m., shook for at least a minute, according to residents of Highland, near the epicenter.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

L.A. Times reports it as a 4.5 thats a baby. Hardly newsworthy.

Yeah, it was a small one. I felt 2 small bumps, but I'm a couple hours south of it.

Just wanted to be sure anyone close to it was okay. They're scary, even with no damage or injuries.

I thought i felt an earthquake earlier, but I thought it was just someone moving something in the building in the apt. complex, was just a mild one.

I know they can be scary the 5.4 last year in Chino was frightening enough for me to get the f out of dodge and move to Vegas which is on a huge fault line although fairly dormant one. Northern Nevada had one last year that pretty much levelled most of an old town.
