Not much to say, the Mavs just didn't play well and the Suns played a near flawless game regarding multiple guys playing well, fast break points, shooting %, points in the paint, and protecting the basketball.
It was obviously a bad trend that we were getting outscored 34-6 in the paint at halftime and most of our points were coming off of flukishly high 3-PT shooting.
Don't know what to say, it's amazing that the Mavs have won 20 of their last 27 yet there's no optimism about the team nor should there be. But when 18 of those games are against sub .500 teams, a few of those wins requiring furious rallies, when we're 4-5 against +.500 teams during this stretch and when we've lost 3 games in blowout fashion, then that's why the Mavs can play .750 basketball for 1/3 the season and yet there's nothing to feel great about. The schedule is about to toughen up.
Only way to salvage this road trip I guess is to win v the Queens and Nuggets... 14th against the Hornets at home, I'm calling it a "MUST WIN" game
To reiterate a point I made on d-m.com, mediocrity sucks :(
