Eagles win this one by 1-2 touchdowns. As great as Zona has looked, the Eagles look better especially on the defensive end. Warner will get pressured and sacked a few times. Eagles D is downright sick. Mcnabb will play smarter against the Cards D than Ryan/Delhome did.

Uh huh. And the Giants were supposed to pound the Eagles too, right?
Why don't you let me know now who you think is going to win the second half of the Steelers/Chargers game so I can bet on the opposite team. :lol

Cards were supposed to lose by a TD to 11-5 Atlanta ... and won by six.
Cards were supposed to lose by 10 at 12-4 Carolina ... and destroyed the Panthers despite not having their best WR.
No doubt the Iggles will be favored but AZ *can* win this game at home.

Cards are probably winning the Super Bowl. They are this year's 2005 Steelers, 2006 Colts and 2007 Giants, all the teams that everyone wrote off before the playoffs and quieted doubters each week until they won the fucking Super Bowl.

The Big Tin Shed is a huge home advantage for the Cardz. Not having to travel and still being an underdog AT home? It plays right into the hands of the Cardz.
That's why they play the games.

Cardinals fans are funny.
After all the tough road environments the Eagles have gone through over the years in the playoffs, Cards fans have still managed to convince themselves that playing in Arizona is somehow going to offer something they haven't seen or heard before.
This is an Eagles team loaded with guys who have been there, done that. They don't get rattled because of big fancy domes or loud fans of opposing teams. Just ask the Vikings and Giants.

Fan support is always going to affect the opposing team's mentality. Plus, the weather is perfect in Arizona for the passing game, no wind, cold or rain.
I just hope Boldin will be able to play, they got their hands full with the eagles.

Cards D has been playing very well. That will have to keep up for them to have a great shot at Tampa. The Eagles are going to pressure the fuck out of Warner. That D is for real. The Cards D has to be able to return the favor and keep playing at this level. If they dont and if it is up to the Zona O to do it all against that Eagles D...season over for the Cardinals. Im curious to see how the Cards D plays. Gonna be interesting.

I hate it when people pick the Cards to win. It makes me nervous.
These predictions are great. Let's keep up the "Cardinals have no chance" mantra.
A couple of facts to consider:
Cardinals turned the ball over on the first two possessions on Thanksgiving and still cut the lead to 2 TD's late in the game.
Cardinals average 30ppg at home this year.
Even against the Eagles D I don't think they put up less than 20 unless the turn it over 5+ times. Even with 4 turnovers on the road, on a short week, they put up 20 points.
Points off turnovers will decide this game.

Bad news for Cards: TE Spach, who's been a part of the improved running game late in the season and even nabbed a few passes, is out for the season.
http://www.azcentral.com/sports/cardinals/articles/2009/01/12/20090112spach-CR.html
Cardinals tight end Stephen Spach suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament in last Saturday's game and is out for the remainder of the playoffs, coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday.
Spach signed with the club in late October and moved into a prominent role, mostly because of his blocking skills. Leonard Pope and Ben Patrick will move up the depth chart, and the club is expected to re-sign veteran Jerame Tuman, who was cut in December.
Pope and Patrick have been struggling with knee injuries, but should be fine for Sunday's NFC Championship Game game against the Eagles, Whisenhunt said.
"He (Spach) has done a good job for us in the running game, but it's not going to change our scheme," Whisenhunt said. "We're very comfortable with Ben and with Leonard in doing what we've been doing. And they're healthier now than they were at times this year when we've struggled. So it shouldn't be a big issue."

Boldin, meanwhile, is 'hopeful' he can play this weekend.

cards fans have been throw alot
I guess eagle fans would know about a team that does not win the big game though
but with reid and their quarterback what do you esxpect
The QB's are a wash since they already have experience playing in big time games but the only difference i think is, Warner have a lot more weapons on Boldin, Fitz and Breaston. Edge and Hightower are awesome RBs.
Eagles on the other hand have more effective defense than the Cards and more balanced offense.
All i want is a shootout on Sunday and then im happy with whoever wins. They both deserve to be in this situation.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs2008/news/story?id=3832803
Brian Westbrook re-injured his left knee in the Philadelphia Eagles' 23-11 divisional-round victory over the New York Giants but is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the running back told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio on Wednesday.
Westbrook said he is dealing with some "extra swelling" in the knee and wouldn't practice Wednesday.
"I'm giong to spend more time running in the pool to help the muscles around the knee fire up a little bit better," he said.
Westbrook finished with just 36 yards on 18 carries and had two receptions for 10 yards last weekend.

that actually was a correct call.. and i'm a cards fan. though.. he explained it wrong no the challenge.
the ball touched the eagles player on the fingers on the way down, landed inbounds, but then touched the player again on the way back up when the player was out of bounds.
so it was a dead ball at that point, eagles ball.
if it happened the way he explained it, it would've been placed at the 40.

He's been running the ball a lot in the playoffs. But Westbrook is getting no blocking and can't find anywhere to go. As a result, he's hesitant and isn't hitting the line of scrimmage at speed. It's completely limiting hiim. Not to mention Philly has played two tough defenses in the playoffs so far.

You are down 4 points. If the Cardinals get a feild goal you are only down a TD. You miss the two pointer you are now down 5 and a Cardinal feild goal puts them up 8. Two point conversions are not a gurantee by any stretch of the imagination. Pointless now cuz the kicker missed the extra point.HAHA

Eagles WRs dropped a lot of balls today.
McNabb made his share of awful passes as well. If they would have played the entire game like the 3rd quarter, it would have been over at halftime. Instead, they came out flat, got pasted early, and couldn't do enough to come back. Philly's fault for not stepping up from the start of the game.
As far as the questionable pass interference on 4th down, it was still catchable, and nowhere NEAR as bad of a call as the kickoff near the end of the 1st half that might have completely put the game on ice before the 3rd quarter started. But a horribly officiated game.
