Kurt Thomas's performance was a bright spot. Just what the Spurs need from him.

Thank you...I notice that too.

KT was hitting his jumpers on the pick-n-pop.

Also, the Spurs outrebounded Orlando (remember they have tall frontline with Lewis, Hedo, and Howard) 38-33.

The Spurs shot over 50% from the field as well.

Those are some of the positives I can take from this game.

the positive is that we lost a 1 possession game to a top 3 team in the NBA..despite their shooting from 3, despite Parker missing 2 chip shots at the end of the game(shots he makes 9 out of 10 times), bad decisions, and most of all, horrible refs..

Manu not settling for jumpers.

Kurt earned more play time. Why didn't Pop try Ime on Jameer:huh? I think Pop wanted us to lose with his coaching tonight. Finley in at the end? Bonner was also non-existent. Even with their 3-point shooting:wow, we still should have won if we would have executed down the stretch. We let the refs get into our heads:nope. We have to be mentally stronger than that because as we all know the lakers are coming with the refs in their pockets. :flag:

Well at least my football teams won today.:clap

Udoka on Nelson? I think Nelson would have ran circles around him...

Finley continues to shoot well. Wish Thomas had more playing time as well.

another positive is that we actually drove to the basket a lot more..it shows that we have the potential to be a versatile team, especially with Manu looking like he's gained some physical tools back..

George Hill had another terrific dunk.. we need at least one of these every game.

The offense down the stretch was pitiful. I still don't have faith that this team will be able to overcome their offensive shortcomings.

Having said that, you can't expect the Magic to shoot 67 percent or so from 3 point land.

offense was pitiful? what more do you want then Parker getting 2 chip shots?..

Agree with Thomas' play. Making that jumpshot consistently now.

I agree, Kurt played well.

Also with the officiating and the 64% 3 point shooting of the Magic, we were still in the game until the end.

This loss will help the Spurs stay under the radar.

After seeing how they fared against a fairly large team, I expect the Lakers game to be a great one as well. With the Spurs coming out on top with the refs calling everything for the Lakers. Then the Laker fans can STFU and GTFO. (The annoying trolls only of course)

None! Bonner continues to prove hes not a starter, Tony took too many shots and iced Mason again, Poor D allowing the magic to shot 49%. We continue to prove we are not a top 5 team, we need to get Ian on the court, make moves or tank the season so we can keep our first rounder.
GW post.

I had been upset with the mavs until I watched the spurs lose last night, now I am positive for the mavs. Mavs are pretty bad this season compared to their past several seasons but they are still a little bit better than the spurs I think.

Afer seeing the Mavs against the Suns I seriously don't know how you can make such an AWFUL statement. LOL ridiculous stuff.

Yup even I see Kurt make those shots he's known for never missing. hahaha. Bottom line is the Magic are just better. They're record isnt a fluke. And they're still learning as a team.

Yeah, he's a Spur fan.

But keep blaming the refs for last night. Most spurfans have that down to a science.
