Hopefully this tough loss will fire the team up even more so when the Lakers come into town. Would be a nice way to rebound from this so quickly.

Excellent points!! too much will be made whether it's a win or a loss! The season is still young- my concern is that the Spurs need to keep on improving so they'll be able to compete with the likes of the lakers, hornets, magic, in the playoffs.

we haven't played well against above .500 teams this year so you want to make this an important game? prepare for a let down.

The spurs have not played worse than the rockets against .500 teams, so even with a loss, you guys would still be ok, cuz the refs royally fucked the spurs last night.

If this is a statement game for anybody, its the rockets, to show our win over boston wasn't just a fluke, and that we can win without tracy mclady.

I seriously doubt this game will tell us anything we don't already know. We have the same needs as we did at the start of the season, Pop knows it, the other 29 teams know it and some of us here know it. The chances of this current group winning it all against the current crop of teams is slim to not at all unless the needs can be addressed or some serious last season injuries occur. I love the Spurs but realisticly we are not on par with elite status as of today, it can change but I don't see it happening without a signing or some serious 1999 type improvement from the frontline's plAY

You'll be playing an injury-riddled Laker team on the 2nd night of a b2b at home.

I'm not sure what this game will tell you should you win.

It's a regular season game. Not a big deal. The Lakers are no titans.
