Playoff pay for NFL players ?

Someone should know this ...

NFL players get "$X" per year per their contract. What happens when teams get into the playoffs? Do players get an extra 1/16th per week or is there some other formula?

I've heard about playoff shares in the past but never cared enough before now to worry about it.

I think the team gets paid and then they divide it among the players, but who knows.
