what a wildly entertaining game. and yes, manu is getting near his peak. let's see how he plays in the next few games. but i like the way he played against the lakers. he's been frustrated lately by his play, especially his 3-point shooting. today, he shot 4-out-of 8. keep it up manu. nice win for the spurs.

he's clearly back..

his athleticism has been back for a few games now, and it looks like his shot is returning..

I can't believe a lot of people here had the balls to say that he would never be as good as last year's non-playoff Manu Ginobili..

he's not all the way back, but he is getting there. Just waiting for the 40 or 50 pt game to say he's all the way back.

I don't think he'll get a 40 or 50 pts game this season, at least not in the regular season. Pop will not play him for more than 25-30 minutes, and no matter how good you are you can't put that many points in that few minutes.

I wouldn't get that excited and I don't think he's back quite yet. Yes he's had a pretty good game shooting threes but until he can put together a consistent few games I wouldn't consider him back yet. It's nice though that he's hitting his threes tonight though.

We'll see.

He can be awesome 1 game and then suck at the next one.

I'll hold my "Manu is back" thoughts after the next couple of games to see if he continues playing godly.

26pts 8 rbds in 20 min and with only 10 FG attemps, Is there a more productive player in the history of the NBA?

Great job Manu, you're clearly rounding into shape, nice game. Just make sure your controlled chaos is kept in balance and don't get injured yet again in the post season -knock on woods.

Ginobili looked really good. Legs were lively and his shot looked smooth. When he starts line drive swishing three-pointers, the other team should just go home . . .

This was an actual question, do you remember a player that could put those kind of numbers in so few minutes?

Well, Amare did score 3 points and had 1 rebound against Boston in 30 minutes the other night and he might be going to the all star game.
Just saying...

Well, once his production increases in the last 3' of games, then you know Mr. Ginobili is back.

That block in Miami,
9 points in the last 1' in Chicago,
3s in Charlotte.

He won't be selected for that game in Phoenix.
Expect a further increase in productivity around that period.

:lmao @ the Manu Haters who were saying He should've been traded when He played for the Arg.National team in Beijim, and also the ones who thought Manu was done after getting hurt.
Kiss Manu's ass now Bitchesssssssssssssss.!!!!

Wait till he drops below 20 points in 22' and you will see a Ginobili-for-Collison trade thread.

Ice would get 15 in a quarter and you would barely notice he was so smooth.

I am by no means a hater but given his injury history of late and age I would not be against trading him if we could get good value in return.

Name me a shooting guard thats equally as clutch, can carry a team on his back in the 4th quarter, an all star, and makes his salary.

It is pretty much impossible to get a deal equal to someone who get paid what Manu does and was in the top 10 in MVP voting last year. He's in the top 5% on NBA players, but a shitload get paid more.
