Elena Guajardo Wants Her Council Seat Back

"Elena Guajardo announces that she will challenge incumbent Justin Rodriguez to retake the San Antonio City Council District 7 seat she held from 2005 to 2007. In an interview with the San Antonio Express-News on December 27th, Elena said she decided to run after hearing from District 7 constituents that Rodriguez had been unresponsive."

For those that don't recall, this is the same woman that received an email from one of her constituents and relayed said message back to his employer since he had sent the original email from company servers, he was subsequently terminated, then committed suicide.

I'm not saying George Dickerson is the sole reason she lost (64.7 percent to 35.3 percent) but it's certainly one of the reasons, and I can only assume she's hoping people have forgotten.
