it will all depend on how far his game develops.

i read it, and thought about it for a while.

then realized that matches parker's description almost to the T.

i would like to hope he's another steal just like parker/ginobili, and pans out really well for us - and can start playing like a 2 guard, so we can keep both him AND parker.

As long as he isnt on this roster and our team has a losing record. Or as long as he is on this roster and we have a winning record...............it dont matter to me what so ever. Hill dont pay my bills.

i thought about that too. as long as Mason/Bonner/Hill/Parker/Hairston/Gist/Mahinmi are in the team together when Tim, Manu, Bruce, and Mike retire

You think he'd be good enough to consistently start against bigger players? I'm assuming Mason is still starting, but Hill just gets more minutes at the 2 because he has proven himself in the last 5 seasons, all ending with a riverwalk parade.:hat

P.S. I'm almost anticipating next year more than this seasons' playoffs. Gist will be here, Hairston(maybe), Ian, Hill and Mason will have both had a full year under the system, Ime will be gone, god damn, that team will be nice.

Parker/Hill/Vaughn
Mason/Ginobili
Hairston/Bowen/Finley
Duncan/Ian/Gist
Bonner/Thomas/Oberto

With this lineup, I hope Pop gets rid of smallball for the most part.

I see us doing a sign and trade for TP in 3 years and starting George after that. In 5 years TP will be like what? 32? 31? George will be about 27, right in his prime, and Tony will be right past his prime.

So you'd trade the best PG the Spurs have ever had right in the middle of his prime?

Depends on how much he wants to get paid...

After 5yrs his rookie salary contract will have run out and whether he is retained likely will depend on what the Spurs see his future role as (and offer him $$ accordingly) versus what he sees his role as.

It's WAY to early to speculate at this point because there are so many factors to consider.
