I know most of you are Mexicans but I had no idea how many racists posted here.At least Laker fans know how to treat a black man.

So does San Antonio......look how well we treat David Robinson, Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen, etc. And that is just our athletes. There are many local blacks who have been treated with great dignity. Mr. Paschall in the JISD district has an elementary school named after him. He was a strong part of the JISD foundation and tradition. Then there is the young black woman who Wagner High School is named after. She was in the military and I believe she lost her life in Iraq.

Because Martin Luther King Jr. Would rather us live out his message of equality every day of the year then just honor him for one.

Same reason we don't recognize Gandhi, Chavez, Washington, Lincoln, Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha or even God. This is a basketball forum for the Spurs and none of the previously mentioned have ever played basketball or are affiliated with the Spurs although it is widely believed in most religious sports circles that God does love the Spurs/

If anything, the original poster is being a hateful bigot himself and goes against the very principles of freedom and equality this day represents.

Also has the audacity to use today as a method of trolling himself, might as well ban him imo; probably more racist than MLK's murderer.

Each year, a variety of educational, inspirational and celebratory events honor one of the nation's most revered civil rights leaders. The signature event, the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March, is scheduled for Monday, January 19, 2009. The march will begin at 10 a.m. at the MLK Freedom Bridge located at 3500 MLK Drive and end at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa (click this link for march route and info). Once again, it is expected to draw more than 100,000 adults and children. San Antonio hosts the largest march in the United States.
The MLK Commission organizes the march and leads the community effort of more than two dozen events paying tribute to Dr. King. The wide variety of educational, inspirational and celebratory events take place at City library branches, college and university campuses as well as military installations.

...
Will be the focus of the 2009 MLK Commemoration. Improving the quality of our youth's education is very important to the MLK Commission.

I just came back from celebrating MLK and I have to read all this hate bigotry you people seem to spew no matter who you offend. And then to top it off you call me a troll just because I am a Laker fan? I have done noting but support the Lakers and I am a huge part of why SpursTalk is the success it is today. And this is how i get treated?

And I am sorry if my picture of MLK is not up your standards I had to use Google on a short notice.

I am going back to Lakers Ground and I am going to tell them of my horrible experience with SpursTalk unless some of you apologized.:ihit

The only reason I don't email the web master is i want them to enjoy their MLK day and not have it ruined like mine was.

Thanks for nothing! :bang

I saw how they deleted your topics about SpursTalk I don't blame you for wanting to post here. Don't let these band wagon Spur fans run you off there are a few Spurs fans with class that want to hear from other fans of other teams. If you need help ask one of the moderators I think his name is Tpark.

I think you are the one who is racist...you mention that you know most of Spurtalk guys are Mexicans without knowing them personally. I would not make any bad judgement for Lakers since I respect Lakers. But there are always some people that screwing around. By the way make sure ure not get confused between Malcom X and MLK,look at ur picture. Im Asian and most of my friends are African American. You are a fucking faggot who are narrow minded and you are definitely not welcomed here. I see one post that saying Lakers Lanny is not belong to LG. Have a nice day loser...you are on your own

1. So, they called you a troll. GET OVER IT. We could have called you much more creative names
2. Short notice or not, you post a picture of Malcom X. Not MLK JR. How do you not expect to get shit for that??
3. Please go back to Laker Ground. We have enough idiots on here. We don't need a MORON.
4. Email the webmaster all you want. It's not going to do much good. The webmaster will look at your thread and laugh. It's very laughable.

opposite in approach maybe, but i would not say polar opposites. In fact both softened there original stances (malcolm less radical, and mlk less passive) towards the ends of their journeys.
