She looks like a monkey. Not because she's black but just because her face looks like a monkeys.

What haters. I loved the dress. Someone said it matched the color of the Presidental church this morning. The dress is by a cuban-american designer named Isabel Toledo who used to design for Anne Taylor. It's timeless and classic. A few weeks ago people said she would "single handedly" save the fashion industry. I thought that was a load of crap. However, by wearing and promoting little known designers she can help in some way.

Yeah my heart bleeds for them.

I'm shocked there isn't a bailout plan for them.

She usually looks pretty good, but that was some Don Magic Juan gear.

I disagree. I'm not hating on her, but that is an ugly dress or whatever it is. It looks like the curtains at the Golden Nugget. Now if she wanted to be a fashion pioneer...any of these dresses would be perfect for her. I know it was cold yesterday, but it's like I always say: sometimes you have to suffer for fashion!

So did the media ever bust her balls on the thousands most of her clothes cost that she wore throughout the last 2 years?

Unlike Palin, Michelle has a real education and a career to pay for her own clothes that are not purchased from her favorite "thrift" store.

The dress looks like she's wearing a life preserver under the jacket. It'd be prettier if she lost whatever greenish-looking thing she's wearing under there.

Thumbs down to the white ball gown.

Really? I liked Michelle Obama's ball gown. I thought she looked lovely.

President Obama was right when he talked about being fortunate to be the guy escorting Michelle Obama.

Both dresses were ugly - and Michelle is not that attractive. She's almost flat-chested and she's got that lazy eye thing going. Oh - but she has "incredibly toned arms". People were slobbering all over her - but I wasn't impressed.

absolutely fabulous dress, shoes and gloves, she looked great in person :clap

I thought it was great dress and coat. The reason it looked a little weird with the lining is because she had it lined with pashmina to stay warm, so she wouldn't have to wear an overcoat (plus she added that green sash/tie). I thought the green gloves and pumps were a nice, daring contrast to the gold dress.

Her Jason Wu gown at the balls was quite pretty too.

She's a good dresser. She mixes designer pieces with budget options from J.Crew, H&M, TJMaxx etc.

I liked both outfits and thought she looked great. She doesn't have that generic style that most celebrities have, she has flair to her clothing to make it show her personality which is pretty cool.

So you, a businessman known for getting upset at people who decry how you made your money, is decrying a woman for how she made her money.

I swear, T Park, sometimes you're more elitist than those you label with the same term.

Michelle Obama is so dedicated to her man that she didn't wear her wedding ring on inauguration night because it didn't match her dress.

I didn't know that was what defined the quality of a marriage. Hey this marriage thing might be easy after all!
