View Full Version : Spurs vs. Raptors March 2nd -- How Many Rebounds Will Nazr Get?

timvp

In his first game with the Spurs, Nazr Mohammed had six rebounds in 16 minutes of play in his first game as a Spur. Now that he has that game under his belt and some more practice time, how will he respond in his second game? Place you bets now.

Also use this thread to predict the final score.

Nazr's had some huge games against Toronto this year, no matter whom they play at C. If he's not hurting too much and gets some extended time, he'll get the vaunted AHF double-double.

Enough already with the mid-winter, badly played games yielding crappy losses.

Enough already with crappy wins over crappy teams.

It's freakin MARCH, dammit!!

This stretch of 4 home games needs to be air-borne body-parts masscres, so the blood-soaked Spurs charge in PHX and the pulverize the Suns to conclude a head-stomping 3 - 0 season sweep.

Spurs 115
Toronto 85

(just like Rockets did @Bulls Tue night). These lottery mofo's embarrassed the Spurs @TOR, the worst Spurs losses of the season. It's payback time.

Come on, Spurs, quit playing like pussy-fied, un-synched, gutless wimps and show some fire and aggression.

I don't want to see Duncan blocked NOT EVEN ONE FUCKING TIME from here to the Finals.

I don't want to see anybody score more that 85 points on the Spurs from here to the Finals. :)

Hey, I have a question about how the betting works. Say he gets 8 points and 9 rebounds. Would the people who bet in the 6-8 or 9-11 categories lose?

Thanks for the help.

PS: Spurs 108 Raptors 74

Uh, it's all about rebounds so the people that bet 6-8 would lose.

I say:

SA 98
TOR 84

Nazr with 6 boards.

I've got some high hopes that Nazr is the real deal or in other words, the Nazr of early this season who was mentioned in All-Star talk, instead of the Nazr of late (hopefully his groin injury is what was slowing him down). But the Spurs have historically had problems getting up for games against lesser teams so I think Nazr doesn't get the minutes he needs to post a great game. Plus we have to cut the guy some slack for his first few games. If we start thinking that he is a double-double machine right off the bat, we might be disappointed. I hope not but we'll see.

That's some bullshit. What the fuck is he waiting for. Nazr looked lost at times the other night, but how is he ever going to learn if you don't play him? I'm sick of Pop and his man love for Rasho and Horry. Seriously. TMass over the man you just traded for that is supposed to make you stronger in the post season? What the flying fuck?

Coddle in full effect.

Pop might be trying to make Rasho Jr.

Rasho played well, but Mohammed shouldve gotten Massenburg's and some of Devin Brown's minutes.

I think Nazr is still nursing that injury, as we saw he had to take off that wrap to come in the game. I'm all for easing him into the rotation, but he needs to stay out of foul trouble and play smart. I don't really care what his numbers are until he's getting a regular 18-20 mpg.

PM5K
03-03-2005, 10:36 AM
It's just strange for him to play sixteen minutes and then something like four, that totally screwed up the vBookie, I am sure the outcome would have been totally different.

I also wanted to look for some progression but it's hard to see that when the minutes digress...
