Olympiacos is willing to pay $3 million dollars to New York Knicks to secure buyout for Marbury. Then they would offer him €15 million contract.

#1 choice for Marbury is if he can secure buyout agreement with Knicks and Olympiacos pays for it then he would sign with Boston Celtics for rest of year to try to win NBA championship.

Then after this because of how Olympiacos help him he would join them in Summer with taking 3 years and $45 million contract.

Olympiacos will try to secure buyout with Knicks and at least let this happen. They would prefer he join them now but if this is arrangement they have work out then with Marbury joins Celtics, Olympiacos will purchase Nikos Zisis from CSKA Moscow.

Because he is one of most coveted players on CSKA and because Toronto Raptors have been offering him contract price is very expensive. $2.86 millions net money to buy him out from CSKA and then will he cost same amount of money per year. So will be like $5.72 millions net cost to secure Zisis to be new point guard of Olympiacos.

Team also feels Childress will stay with club once Marbury is secure for next year. Still though Marbury might come this year if they cannot purchase Zisis or if he cannot go to Celtics so we will see.

crazy greeks dont know how to spend their money. you have to be stupid to pay the knicks to release him so he can sign for another team. that is so shady that no contract could protect them from getting totally shafted by the nutcase that is marbury.
