I say Parker but only if they let him rap during halftime.

Parker deserves it, but I'd pick Manu of course.

Parker has been playing out of his mind and deserves to go. Manu hasn't played well it all. I would though love to see Manu make at least one more AS before he starts going downhill. I don't want him to be known as a one time AS scrub who only made it because of what he did that past summer (I've been hearing that a lot from other fans).

Parker. I have a feeling he will make it. Manu most likely won't.

Parker.

Let Manu rest.

Would have been soooo funny if Bowen would have gotten in on the fan vote, can you imagine someone actually playing hardnosed defense in the ASG ???

Tony will make it but not manu... he doesn't deserve to be picked but i hope he still has one more AS level season left in the tank

Tony is gonna make it of course; he’s second best PG in the league according to……...mmmmm……....himself.

great, another Tony vs Manu thread.

Tony is the all-star this year and it's absolutely no offense to Manu. Tony is simply having a better year.

I have to agree, with you…… but honestly, being a bench player is somehow hurting Manu….. last year he deserved to be an all-star….

BW … doesn’t he came off the bench because our bench sucked??? We technically have a good bench now, don’t we?

Last year after the results were announced, Roy was better than Ginobili. Ginobili then turned his game up a notch after that.

Although our bench does not suck, we haven't got a PG who can create offense and see the floor well on our bench (Sorry George Hill), which is why it would be better for Ginobili to lead the 2nd unit, which is also why he keeps turning the ball over.

Parker for 3rd appearance.

From PER stats

Tony Parker 8.9 to
Manu Ginobili 10.8 to

TO Turnover Ratio is the percentage of a player’s possessions that end in a turnover.
Turnover Ratio = (Turnover x 100) divided by [(FGA + (FTA x 0.44) + Assists + Turnovers]

TP for sure... he wants it so bad and his swagger will ultimately increase just by being there.. Manu doesn't really care that much and he'll be even more rested for the toughest part of the year... though when Manu made it we won it all...

Manu proved tonight why he isn't an allstar. Now can you dipshits stfu? Manu is a R O L E player...

Dude, he is so washed up right now, he doesn't know what to do.

Dude was running a pick and roll with Matt Bonner and Bonner was rolling to the lane... What a fucking night mare... they are so lucky that the Nets missed shots in the fourth or their ass was toast... Manu tried to give it away again....

Frickin Homers.

Manu...Parker's going to be a fixture at the AS game for years to come and Manu won't have many more opportunities...besides, Manu was too green in his only AS appearance and didn't really get to play like Manu. Manu's got a game tailor made for the AS game and is one of the most entertaining players in the world to watch.

The AS game was made for players that play like Manu Ginobili.

Manu should quit the NBA and go play on the And 1 tour... maybe his shit will work there.

:rolleyes

Manu is not an allstar...come on homer.

Parker.

Paul needs a backup to match up against Mo Williams.
There's other shooters to backup Bryant.

You'd be hard fought to find a point guard in this league that doesn't lead their team in TOs. More touches and handling just ups the law of averages in regards to turning it over.

Actually he didn't get more votes than Manu. Only Duncan, Yao, Kobe, Paul, T-Mac and Shaq got more votes than Manu in the WC.

And regarding the topic of this thread I have to say that Tony deserves it while Manu doesn't but if you give me to choose of course I'd like to see Manu in the ASG, however I think that Parker going to the ASG and Manu out is the best thing that could happen to the Spurs, Manu needs the rest and he doesn't care about these things too much either way, while Tony IMO could get really frustrated if he doesn't get selected but could get a lot more confidence if he does.
