Its my tv, my house. I can do whatever the hell I want to do with it. I'm the one paying 189 bucks to see the game however I want. So dont tell me what I cant do with my own stuff "mate."

lol OK. Turn the TV off then. You may as well stop being a Spurs fan while you're at it.

Minne just beat NO! And Mike Miller may be coming out of his slump (I hope!) with a 12/9/4 game.

Minne is a lot better since they've realised Foye is a scorer, not a PG.

He's not you half-wit. He's saying you're the type of fan that gets so emotional over one loss that he/she turns off the TV before the game is over. Usually emotional people don't give good analysis.

I watched bit of that game and would have watched all of it if the Spurs weren't on tonight.

I really like the way Minnesota is playing lately. Mchale (spelling?) seems to be doing a good job and Jefferson is very good.

He didn't tell you what to do, he pointed out that giving up on your team, saying you won't watch the regular season 30 games in, and not watching the end of games is the stuff of bandwagoners. And he's right. ;)

Anyway, let's enjoy the game. :D

This is somewhat true.

Before this year I didn't have LP so I couldn't watch all the regular games with regularity. I was at the mercy of ESPN and TNT.

I dont mind when Spurs lose to a contending team but I get pissed when they lose to scrubs. That though goes away a couple of hours later though. My "Temper Tamtrums" doesn't last very long.

In Shadowflames defense; I've noticed a lot of sports fans, not just Spurs fans, that express anger instead of disappointment when their teams aren't playing up to what THEY believe is THEIR team's potential. My ex-wife used to say after a loss, "Fuck Tony Parker, Fuck the Spurs". It's how she expressed herself after a Spurs loss. Granted, I'm not married to that bitch anymore (thank god). Another patented Manu turnover. Manu is Argentinian for "overrated."

You act like these guys aren't allowed to ever make a mistake. How about all the games he's won for us? And then the pass to Finley owns you.

So I can relate, just don't understand it.

True. For mine that's an emotionally immature reaction though - 13yos react like that when things don't go their way, adults generally don't.

Same goes for people who say things like "Parker is shit" or "Manu is a moron", rather than "that was a terrible play by Parker". We all make mistakes, but you can't forget how good these guys are an all the wins they've brought us - directly labelling the player as shit does exactly that.

eg. boneheaded play there by Manu! :lol

If the Spurs bring this weak sh*t into LA they will lose by 60

They won't. They know they can't cruise for 3/4 of the game against LAL like they did today.

Yeah, Spurs usually have a bad habit of playing to the level of the competition, but since LA is the best of the competition I don't doubt SA will bring their A game.

As sloppy of a game as it was, TD was huge in the clutch, and the Spurs defense only allowed NJ to shoot 42%

Are you kidding me? YES had Marv Albert and Mike Fratello, felt like a TNT game with very little bias, which is surprising considerign those guys are getting paid to be Nets announcers.

Sean is hilarious at times, but as an announcer he's almost too much of a homer which makes him downright annoying at times. Many teams have similar announcers, but make no mistake about it, Sean isn't all that great.

Sean is excellent. He is smart and funny. Yes he is a homer, but he also calls the Spurs out on numerous occasions. He calls the refs out when they give the Spurs a call they shouldn't or when they don't give the Spurs a call they should. He and Land work well together.

Marv is the GOAT.

The Knicks team of Mike Breen and Walt Frazier is excellent, too.

Sean was very, very good when he started out on ESPN. He's gotten progressively lazier over the years, until now he spends more time trying to be cute than providing insight. He's fine if you're a Spurs homer, but I imagine he drives fans of other teams nuts. He's not in the league of Heinsohn and the Rocket douchebags, but if he continues at this rate of decline he's going to come close.

Well I'm back from my trip to S.A. And I am now 2 for 2 on going to Spurs games this year woooo! I was also at the Philly game when TP hit the game winning shot. I surprised my gf with tickets this time around for her b-day. I had a feeling at the beginning of the night that it would be a close one, dont know what it was....I just felt it. A couple of observations I personally had from the game:

1. Tim Duncan is a BEAST. I knew he was fucking the Nets up, but I didnt realize how dominant he was until I looked up at the final stats, Its amazing, we really have to cherish watching him these last few years because TD IS THE SPURS.

2. Kurt Thomas held his own on D, and hit some pretty good jumpers. I like him next to TD.

3. Manu was just bad, he couldnt get ANYTHING going. I noticed Pop yanked him at the beginning of the night and thought wow, its gonna be one of those nights for him. He finally had a couple good drives at the end of the night and the one BIG assist to Finley, so he made up for it, up until turning the damn ball over with 0.2 seconds lol.

4. Roger Mason is a damn good player, if he is open, I have a feeling he can hit the shot, BIG acquisition.

5. Bowen is still damn good on D, he stuck to VC whenever he was in the game, and really took some elbows to the chest and VC push-off's but of course nothing was called.

Well onto the L.A. game! Go Spurs Go!
