Wolves and Spurs are both 8-2 over last ten games, best in the West.
Suns aren't even on the same division as the Spurs. So they are also irrelevant.

I'm glad we're done with Minny. Randy Foye seems to have finally figured out the NBA game. He's been positively beasting since the new year.

The coaching is always wrong for that team. It never fits whatever the coach wants the team to do.
I'd say the best they've come to been good is with D'antoni since the '92-1993 season. This Porter guy wants to slow down the pace and that's not how the Suns are acustom to playing.
Would be more sweeter if the Spurs get the W on Sunday.

it is no mystery that hollinger has an adverse reaction to the mere pronunciation of proper nouns like san antonio, or spurs or tim duncan

This year's Surs win most of their games by 3 points or less.
That sends Hollinger's brain into spasm. He thinks the Lakers are 5 times better than everybody else because of no other reason than their margin of victory.

Can you save the shit talk for when the Suns are thought of as a contender. No point in kicking them while they're down.

For the first time this season, we are clearly in second in the West, with more wins and fewer losses than all the other teams but LAL.

Second place is the first loser. We need every game we play against LA this season if we want the best chances of overcoming that 1st seed.

We are now closer to LA than to Phoenix in the standings.

Hollinger's formulas are legit. He had Spurs #1 in '07 after the regular season and Celtics #1 in '08 after regular season, so he's 2/2 ! :)

Hollinger is full of it. He says the Spurs will miss the playoffs this year.

Strange season that was really difficult to watch with our Spurs. The next round is compelling and it'll be interesting to see the Mavs/Nuggets matchup. Nuggets won all 4 regular season games but 3 of the 4 were by the slimmest of margins. Limiting Melo and JR Smith is the key for Mavs. Now that Josh and Jet aren't out with injury, the Mavs have 4 guys who can create and the Nuggs haven't shown an ability to stop Dirk.
I don't have a favorite here, but it should be entertaining.
