Actually i want to be an interpreter(Chinese/English/French) but i consider that i don't have enough capability of being a qualified interpreter although i am trying and learning
However, it's really tough to achieve.
Some say French language is the toughest foreign language for Chinese people to pick up , I totally agree with that.

In school currently to get my degree in history so I can teach 9th or 10th grade history. I plan to do that for 3 years then use the money I have saved up to get my masters at OU. Maybe after work for the government in a diplomatic position overseas, preferrably in Africa or the Middle East.

Probably like around 35k to start off per year. I don't know about each month. But that's enough for me considering I don't have children and would just live in an apartment. Don't have bills to pay anyway except for my phone and gym membership.

I found out an interesting thing
in China, a boss or an owner of a company has to pay salary for his employees each month.
even though someone who signs a 3 year contract, he needs to get his salary from his boss month by month. (of course the company would send your salary to your bank account month by month)
is it same as US?

I heard this is a good time to be in school, because by the time one graduates the economy should start picking up. However we had a guest lecturer today in one of my classes and he didn't seem to hopeful about the eco's future.

There are pros and cons to being in school right now. The cons would be that the cost of education is higher than ever, and it's extremely difficult to find a job to supplement income ... so you end up taking out more loans.
The pros are that depending on what you're in school for, there could be more jobs when you finish since the economy will hopefully be picking up in some newer sectors. I'm hoping that by the time I finish my masters that my Information Science field will be relatively in demand. Hopefully. If all else fails there's the public library, which is being used more now than any time in recent memory, so it shouldn't be a place from which to cut too much funding.

I've been everything from a hotel porter to civil sevant, trade mark examiner to icecream server. I've had about 17 jobs in my life I think, most of them crappy, but the best were driving a cab and teaching.
I've got a BSc in ecology and an MSc in Human Ecology, and I've just started a company called "Progressive Sustainability" which will off environmental footprinting, training and education, and general environmental consultancy services.
