Props to the Lakers

Good game and execution from LA pretty much throughout. Once again Phil forced us to be a 3pt shooting team, and we couldn't hit the side of a barn. The only knock I'm going to give LA is that I think they can play much better defense (they did early in the season), because you just can't expect those wide open shots not to fall every night. Other than that, they've played a pretty complete game. :toast

Their defensive problems in the last game were covered today. I'm glad the Spurs got curb-stomped; they deserved nothing less with the shitty effort today.

I think Boston is still the best. Fisher will have a hard time with Rondo. Garnett and Perkins can neutralize Bynum and Odom. Pierce and Allen are a great one-two punch in the perimeter.

Lakers just got lucky. They had the refs on their side and made the shots they were supposed to make. Everyone knows Kobe was pretending to be injured to get the refs sympathy and it worked.

Lakers look awesome. Definitly the team I don't want to meet in the playoffs, but 2 top teams deserve to play eachother. I think today was just a really bad performance by the Spurs. It will be more competitive as the season goes on
