He has made big move up to big Euroleague club Maccabi. His role will be as either 2nd or 3rd string center.

I think Andre left the team too. Neither he nor Mo Abukar played the last game.

If so we're pretty boned, but it will be nice to see Eric Dawson and Serge Angounou playing more. I was a little disappointed by the short rotation this season.

During the streaming of last' Friday's game, the commentator said that Andre Brown went overseas. Abukar was also interviewed : he is injured and should be back soon (maybe for the next game).

I guess the Toros will be playing a lot of small ball until they get another post player. The upcoming schedule actually isn't that bad. They can be competitive if they adapt.

this killed Garth Brooks' career.

No, it ended when he tried convincing the world that thunder rolls.

for Gaines in Euroleague debut. Two of my favorite D-Leaguers have done well in Europe:

Top 16 Week 5 co-MVPs: Charles Gaines, and Mike Hall

In a decisive week of Euroleague drama in which the last five Quarterfinal Playoff qualifiers were decided, some players whose teams didn't make it to the next round left their mark on the competition with outstanding individual performances. A pair of forwards, Mike Hall of Armani Jeans Milano and Charles Gaines of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, shared Top 16 Week 5 co-MVP honors with performance index ratings of 33 each. Hall did everything he could, but could not finally keep Milano in the playoff race during an 84-81 road loss against Olympiacos. Hall finished with 27 points by making 7 of 8 two-point shots and 4 of 8 three-pointers. He also picked up 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 fouls drawn for his 33 index rating. Gaines, a mid-season pickup by Maccabi, helped his new team grab a 70-76 road win against Alba Berlin. Gaines stepped in for injured big man D'or Fischer to post 22 points based on solid 8-for-11 two-point shooting. He added 12 rebounds, a steal and 7 fouls drawn to show the way to victory despite it being the first time since 2003 that Maccabi played a Top 16 game knowing that it could not advance in the competition.

One good game is not do well in Europe. But he is improving. Hall is having pretty good year. Of course they both play in pretty poor clubs.

No Hall is doing well but in poor club. Gaines is not except for one game but as I said he is improving.

You must remember Childress and Pargo struggle a lot this year in Euroleague. So I am not insulting these players. Like I even say Hall has had nice year. But also remember like with Gaines put up stats in Maccabi is far from same thing as stats in bigger clubs.

Just like Morris last year have big stats in Maccabi but in club like CSKA is nowhere near as good. I hope Spurs fans can realize this. Or is stats in Spurs just as important as stats in Wizards or Clippers?

this killed Garth Brooks' career.
Shit..Garth still gets thousands and thousands of people wanting to see him. If he came back today, he'd be top. He did a show in Kansas City, MO not too long ago at the stadium and when tickets were sold out for the first show, he a lot more still wanted to see him. He ended up having to do 4 shows to accommodate everyone. Garth is the man. This was an unfortunate situation that was out of his control. It was supposed to be a soundtrack for a movie called "The Lamb" that was supposed to be about a fictional musician...kind of like "This is Spinal Tap." They wanted to release the soundtrack first to get people accustomed to the main character, Chris Gaines. Then, the people decided not to do the movie, leaving Garth stranded.

Third string on Maccabi? Why not make a post about Ellen Degeneres' new girlfriend? Both are just about as relevant to the Spurs. Better yet, post something about yourself. Since your goal is to be fucking irrelevant, might as well go all the way.

Gaines I need to see more, but Hall, who struggled quite a bit by the start of the season, I've been liking a lot. If he learns to create off the dribble a bit and keeps working on his defence, he can be a decent NBA backup forward. Good fit for the Spurs, he plays like one.

Hall isn't even ready to play in a good Euroleague club yet.
