nope its just that the truth is cp3 is overrated because all he does is play for stats and last year his team had a fluke season which made him the most overrated player and most cockiest player now in the nba and the truth is williams is the better player when healthy and he already proved it and if i had to pick which teams scares me the most, it would be the jazz by a mile, because williams>cp3.. just trying be honest with you kid. so im not trying to hate on your man-crush chris paul.

I watch plenty of the Hornets, they are a jump shooting team like a motherfucker. ALL their offense comes from 3 pointers. NO fast break points, few points in the paint, few points from the FT line. Plus they play NO defense. Nowhere near a championship formula.

On top of that, even though people thought they were a young team last year, they're old as hell. Posey, Butler, West, Daniels, Peja are all 28+.

I should say it doesn't really matter though, barring an anomaly or injuries the Lakers are winning the West.

But some viewed the Hornets as contenders in the preseason, which I thought was laughable as hell and they've proven thus far they're not.

I can't argue that we do depend on our jump shooting alot. It's just who we are. We try to spread the floor for CP3. We are an older team as well. That's why we're hoping guys like Armstrong and Wright can develop into quality players. They're our last two lottery picks along with CP3.

this season with all the jazz best players injured most of the season so far, they are only 3.5 games behind your overrated team.
and in the playoffs, deron has been better in his career..hes made WCF and semis while your boy got his cherry popped last year and he made it in to the 2nd round. and your talking about beating us in LA last game, but neeeding a perfect from both your best players to beat us in the game and some refs help, you gotta be joking me, if we meet in the playoffs, mark it down, you guys gonna get your asses whooped in 4 games or 5.

We're not that far off from the 2nd seed. It's been a disappointing start losing to teams like the Knicks, Kings, and Bobcats early in the season, but we've won at Denver (after the Billups trade), at LA (when they were lights out from the 3), and Cleveland this season. We can beat any team on any given night, and with West and Chandler out, our backups are starting to get more confident. Antonio Daniels has stabilized our bench while Posey gives us a defensive presence late in games.

Paul is a great player, but I'm not a big fan of PGs in his mold. Too ball dominant, hard to build around him.

Anyway, the Hornets aren't contenders, IMO. They lack a defensive stopper (Posey isn't exactly that, he's an awesome player for other reasons), a backup big, a rejuvenated Peja and someone to keep the offence going when Paul is out. It's incredible how bad they're putting points on the board when Paul is on the bench. Pargo and Wells are terrible players, but they were helpful in this regard.
