Former NBA shooting guard Reggie Miller admitted earlier today on the Dan Patrick show that he received calls from both the Celtics and Cavaliers this season asking if he would be interested in playing. The Lakers' Kobe Bryant also told Patrick that Los Angeles would extend an invitation to Miller to play for them this year.

Actually, Bynum is getting Kareem in shape for another title run for the Captain. Those training sessions they work at vigorously have a double meaning!

Anybody else think this coattailing to a championship ring just tarnishes a player's record? I thought both Malone and Payton looked terrible doing it.

Yeah. It made me think less of Robinson when he did it.

how are you even gonna say that? robinson didn't come out of retirement or ask for a trade just to get a ring. he fuckin' fought his whole career to get a ring and he ended up with 2 with his team not anyone elses.

Well, one never knows with the press. I don't see Dan Patrick lying about this...

Personally, I find this story amazing. Reggie is 44 years old by now. He wasn't that good anymore when he retired. Championship teams want him back this badly? At first I thought this was a satirical piece.

No, I don't care, I think that playing to win it all is a legitimate motive.

But, essentially, Reggie Miller is not making that. Quite the opposite, he was invited to come back to play for contenders (last season Ainge indeed invited him) and he refused it. So, from your perspective, his record is not tarnished at all.

Please take one of them Reggie.

You are horrible on TV and your voice/humor is about as pleasant as mb'ing with a cheese grinder.

You can't fucking coattail on your own team especially when you carried it for years.

Whoever said Robinson is a freaking retard.

David Robinson was an integral part of both the '99 and '03 teams...
Now, Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson is another story...

Do not worry about the red-headed step child that is Dirk4mvp, he is just stirring things up. He means no harm, move along.
