Always has been, always will be. Los Lakers and Los Celtics will always get what they want. Its just a phone call away.

From 1995-2007 the Celtics were an embarrassment.

You don't think at some point during that 12 year period "Los Celtics" would have picked up the phone and called this imaginary basketball god?

Get over it dude. If we played better D and weren't so inconsistent we would be right there with them. But we don't so we aren't.

It's one of those "circle of life" things.. Spurs just have to stay focused and keep hammering away at that stone.. to release the 7-ft. shotblocking/rebounding center encased within..:lol

It must be strange living day to day thinking that everything that happens is the result of a well-orchestrated super-secret conspiracy. I think that guys in their 20s who are big conspiracy buffs are this society's male equivalent to women in their 50s who see a psychic once a week to determine what they should do.

No giant conspiracy machine would have ever let the small market Spurs sweep the Lebron James-led Cavs in the Finals, thereby losing revenue and casting a negative shade on the biggest and most profitable young star and symbol of the NBA.

The two biggest conspiracy guys I've met in the last few years were both major potheads who sat around getting high and talking about how "The Man" was holding them back and keeping them down with vast conspiracies that covered the government, the sports world, and even things like Academy awards and lottery winnings. The truth is they were both just potheads who rarely did anything. That's what was really controlling things.

some people need to realize that LA actually gave up a good amount..Marc Gasol has a lot of potential, and he's already a starter on a lot of teams..Darrell Arthur has the potential to be a starter in the future..they got cap room from it, which will be the other aspect of whether or not the trade was good for the Grizzlies..

Pau wasn't working out in Memphis, and they made a deal that the Lakers obviously benefited from..they're better off now with Mayo-Gay-Gasol and other young pieces, with a potential FA signing..

I agree 100%. Memphis was going nowhere fast with the well-paid Pau, and now they are a decent & very young team with tons of cap room and a much brighter future. The trade was actually a very good one for them.
