Trade the revolving scrub 12th man spot for Big Shot Bobby. He can't be any worse than the crap the FO is bringing in these days. Besides, he knows the Spurs defense, has played well with TD before, can lay a guy out if he gets too comfortable driving the lane, is playoff big game tested...I could go on and on...you know what this guy can do.
For those of you that say he is done? Three words for you: Bonner, Oberto, Thomas.

If the Spurs were willing to dip their toe slightly into Lux Tax area for a season or two, Horry could be used in a sign and trade to make the numbers work. For example...

Oberto + Vaughn + Horry to about a $4 million sign and trade to the Clips for Camby.

Clips immediately cut Vaughn and Horry. Oberto is only partially guaranteed for next season, so in essence it's just a salary dump for LA.

Don't think for one second that Horry wouldn't accept a free $4 mil (pro-rated), just to show up in LA and pass a physical.

We can't trade for Horry because he is retired and not on any team roster. I can't see why the Clippers would dump Camby for nothing. Of course, they got him for nothing so, I guess anything is possible. These trade threads don't seem to grounded in any kind of reality.

Horry has not officially retired.

He's as retired as Keith Van Horn was when Dallas traded for Kidd, and as retired as Aaron McKie was last year when LA traded for Gasol.

That's a "great" idea. Let's sign him. By the 2011 season he'll probably be back in game shape. Ian will be in game shape before Horry.

We're talking the 12th roster spot not a starting gig for Horry. If age is a factor and if I remember correctly, 3/4 of the posters in here were creaming their collective asses at the mere thought of signing the crypt keeper himself, Mutumbo.
It may sound like the Spurs would be reaching here, but honestly what other options do they have. Our frontline is gutless. Ian, Splitter, Scola, Robinson, Rasho, or Perdue aren't walking through that door boys. We can't trade for anyone because we have no one anyone would want. I just don't see why Horry would be such a bad idea...Oh wait...yes because Austin Croshere is the answer to put us over the top. Ya...good move.

If we're gonna do that, why not go all out and try to get Karl Malone? I bet he's still man enough to crash the boards against Dwight Howard.

Not a good idea.
