If for no other reason than all of a sudden a great fire has been lit under the ass of one Rasho Nesterovic.

Rasho was always there. I'm surprised by how quick fans are to criticize players.

I agree with AHF...it is worth it if Rasho continues to play like this.

You don't think he just happened to have a good game and Nazr didn't have anything to do with it?

Nazr has everything to do with Rasho's play...he's shown more fire and agression in the past two games than he has in all his other games as a Spur combined. He's playing at a different level now and it should be obvious to anyone used to watching him play.

I agree with this topic. Rasho has seemed to be playing well lately.

Whats funny? Rasho was playing like this BEFORE the trade.

Just funny that the trade made people think otherwise.

but, Rasho had a great VS Toronto, nice inside hook shots, nice jumper from the FT NOT the top of the key were hes been taking them.

IMO the start of the game was great, got him involved offensively, and did you see what happened??

That great defensive play on Chris Bosh, totally shutting him down.

Rasho played much, much, much better recently. I don't know if it has to do with Nazr or what, but it is a big difference from just a few games ago. And T Park, this is a big difference in his play.

Nazr has nothing to do with Rasho's success lately.

Anyone think that Rasho will end up with more dunks than Nazr?

Do you see the SPURS games or just the boxscore, because I know he has had more fire and agression in more than 2 games this year.

Yeah, you know what it is Rashohater?

Its, him actually getting a few plays run through him in the beginning of the first quarter like me and aggie have asked for.

But, dont let facts step in your way, that would make Rasho haters like you, manny and others be uh oh, wrong.

GASP!!!!!!!!!

One mans personal opinion = I kind of do not get the whole thing with "blogs"!

To me what the heck is the difference between a chatroom or a blog? Except perhaps, people see events and write about them = that is what Spurs fans do here too, isn't it?

T Park, you don't even get it when I am complementing Rasho's play do you? When I say he plays better, it's because he has both stat wise and by watching the game. Are you saying Rasho hasn't improved any recently? Oh, I'm sorry he's been doing great all year!

Rasho with 10 boards and two blocks tonight, should have been three blocks if the ref didn't have his head up his ass.

Rasho is lucky to play as much as he does with the complete lack of respect he gets from the refs on D. Another by-product of his offensive timidity.

Pop told me tonight that Nazr may be healthy enough to play, but they are being cautious as to not reaggravate the groin. Pop says it's "nagging" so they'd like to give Nazr another five days or so rest to make sure he's good to go.

I still haven't really seen this guy play at all, even though I'm not watching a spurs game everytime fully and all the time. Hopefully he can get some play against the suns cause I'll be watching that one for sure.

The sooner Nazr learns the defense the sooner the Spurs stop allowing teams to take advantage of the loss of inside presence when Rasho goes out. Horry and Massenburg just don't defend the paint, block and alter shots like Tim and Rasho do.

Offensively, Nazr ought to be good for 6-8 ppg just dunking off wrap-arounds and extra passes on guard dribble penetrations.

Exactly.

That void in the middle that was missing when Rasho goes to the bench, will be flled once Nazr gets healthy, and knowledge of the system.

He really showed good things defensively and offensively against Cleveland.

Cant wait till him and Rasho share about 24 minutes each.

I have nothing against this, but uh, where is Horry? I don't give a f..k about T Mass.

Horry is a PF. His main priority is backing up Tim, especially now with Rose gone.

Nazr should eventually settle into the rotation as the first center off the bench behind Rasho (the sooner the better, imo.)

Massenburg will get spot minutes in the bigman dance.
